I read some articles regarding AC Valhalla that :
"All gear is unique in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and this gear is upgradable at the Blacksmith in the settlement. Upgrading the gear will also give new visuals to that gear. Players can choose to interchange the visuals of all armors and weapons that they have obtained"
As far as i know this feature is not yet in the game. Will it be available during the first free seasonal content of the game or earlier? I believe there are many of us that are not a fans of flashy exaggerated armor and would like to revert to previous visual versions of the armor.
Thank you for your time,
P.S. Please add one handed swords.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@c0smodictator THIS!
They do have that feature for your Jomsvikings but nt Eivor?
Maybe it's coming in a patch shortly? or maybe you get it once you've fully upgraded a piece? or the forge? I'm unsure. But this feature is my most sought after request right now! I hate it when a game forces you to change an appearance for an upgrade, but a) gives you *zero* preview for that new appearance and b) doesn't let you toggle between them.
Ghost of Tsushima did this brilliantly.
Exactly. Transmog in general, I hate having to go with worse gear because I have better gear that I hate the look of.
@pinkerton1992 right? I think transmog should be in any RPG that has a lot of gear tbh.
It gives so much more choice and control back to the player regarding how they play and how they look. Anthem actually had a great system for this right off the bat, mod slots in the suits for stats, and armour would just be cosmetic. (problem was they made literally no armour and then all the rest that they eventually did make was MTX only. So... yeah. Great system, with terrible actual use haha)
@grimlock225 excactly what I would wish for future updates.
@c0smodictator It’s mindblowing that they went to extreme extends to add this feature to Odyssey only to -not- add it in the following game?... How does that makes sense.
I don’t like how upgrading my raven gear make everything golden and shiny. We need this feature back. It was even promised at launch like you said.
@nchabb I'm pretty sure that Ubisoft will add this feature within a patch like they did it with odyssey. I am also absolut on your site regarding the "to much gold" they use for the gear. I mean I am a viking and when I take a look on the final forms of the gear and alI the shiny gold that is used in the gear I have rather the feeling that I am a rapper and not a viking anymore. But that is since AC Origin something that bothers me way too much.

It wasn't in Odyssey until 2-3 months or more after it released ...... I had some butt ugly armor combinations the first couple of months
Let's let them concentrate on the myriad of Bugs in the game for now before they try to start adding more features ..... Adding new features to a game this buggy would likely break it completely
@longjohn119 Dang (Hopefully that won't get censored) the censorship here goes beyond even a G rating .... Which is odd for an adult game that drops F-bombs

What puzzles me is the fact the tech was done, the system was developed, functional and ready to use... Only for the whole thing to be discarded/ignored the following game? I have no doubt it's coming, what I don't understand is why it wasn't there from the start?
That's akin to spending an entire afternoon baking a cake for a birthday party, only to put it in the fridge, let it rot there, and bake a second cake once the birthday is over while the original one is still in the fridge.
I completely agree. I think that this feature would be great to add just like in AC Odyssey. I really loved how you could keep the stats while using the appearance of other armor sets, previous appearances of a certain armor set, and weapon appearances. Some parts of armor sets look fine the way that they are fully upgraded, however sometimes certain parts of an armor set is just too flashy for a viking in my opinion.
