    Hahahahahaha.

Best is, saw one of the youtubers' videos from last night talking about the patch. Walking up to Redda with his cloak on, walking nice and fast as he's a console player. Literally the [censored] metaphor for this situation. The console players having things work, while rushing for those items from the micro-transaction store.

    My petition is still up.

    Hello everyone,

I'd like to ask that we do keep this thread civil and polite, in spite of your frustrations. It is unpleasant to deal with profanities and discriminatory / abusive remarks, and this sort of behaviour is not tolerated here on these forums. Please be respectful not only of your fellow players but also support staff like myself, and my colleagues - we are all trying to help!

That said - I sincerely apologise that a fix for this issue will not be implemented in today's title update. However, I am pleased to say that a fix has been found for this issue, and is scheduled to be released in a future update. I will inquire about the possibility of hotfixing this issue, as I know how integral it is to the stealth gameplay to walk at your chosen speed, however I cannot promise that one will be possible.

You'll also find the issue listed on the Known Issues list now in the following format:

Walk speed with disguise is limited

Please let me know if you have any questions or additional concerns. Thank you.

well its unpleasant to get [censored] over by ubisoft and paying 60 € for it, so guess its your own medicine.
And instead of censoring my and my friends comments you could do the right thing and go to the tech team and say that its [censored] important.
I would fire the QA team 3 times over by now to be frank.

@Ubi-Woofer I believe that you are doing you best and the profanity is definitely not to take too serious but what elso should we do to make you guys hammer home the importance of this issue?
sometimes your best is not good enought i guess.

I sincerely apologize for rought tone but im done with the game for the next half year because this isnt just laughable, its pathetic PC support!

@ubi-woofer Thank you for the info. Still blows my mind that it wasn't in this patch. But sure, what's another month?

One thing though is, as I mentioned it isn't -just- the disguise walk speed (as this topic has evolved more info was presented). But at this point I am just looking forward to the disguise speed at least being fixed. But obviously drunk, carrying a body, walking through tall grass etc. would also be nice if they got fixed (again difference in speeds from PC to console, so nothing to do with some lore reason of the states).

Not fixed. All these assholes called Ubisoft don't care about the requests of their users. [censored] them. I won't buy any more games from this company.

@ubi-woofer "It is unpleasant to deal with profanities and discriminatory / abusive remarks"

    1. Isn't that why these forums have a language filter? Specifically so you don't have to "deal with" profanities.
    2. Not once in this thread have I witnessed a discriminatory/abusive remark, and framing players voicing their frustration using adult language as "discriminatory and abusive" is quite frankly dishonest and I would almost consider it gaslighting. Or are we wrong to be disappointed when console players are obviously catered to even though we also paid full price for the game?

Glad to hear you guys have found a solution and we appreciate your efforts in getting this put into a hotfix (and your well-timed communication on the matter), but please don't treat us paying customers like we're abusing you by expressing our frustration.

Thanks for the update and I apologise for offending you in any way, I'm just glad we got a response on this.

And [censored] applause that your skilled devs finally found a way to make a video game character go faster but i first gonna believe it when i see that hotfix

    Hello there!

As mentioned by @Ubi-Woofer, the issue wherein Eivor walks at the slowest speed is planned to be fixed in a future update. We are unable to share unconfirmed details from the investigation, such as providing ETAs for updates when these have not yet been officially announced. Once we have more definite information regarding the update's release, we will share this within this thread and within the News & Announcements forum.

Thank you all for taking the time to share your feedback with us as well. We apologise for any disappointment that has been caused during the investigation. I would like to assure you all that you are welcome to express your thoughts and opinions within the forums. We only ask that anyone who makes a post is respectful to both their fellow players and the support agents within the forums, and keep to the forum rules when making posts. This includes the use of foul language, with or without symbols to disguise their intended purpose. We also request that you remain on-topic when posting within threads. If you would like to have a gameplay-related or an off-topic discussion, please post in the relevant forums for these.

@RevenantSP1 - If these speed issues persist following the future update, please do let us know and we'll gladly take a closer look.

@Bogoethe - We apologise for any disappointment caused by this not being included in TU 1.1.2. This issue is due to be resolved in a future update, so please keep an eye out for the release of future patch notes in our New & Announcements forum.

    Hello all!

Following the announcement of TU 1.2.0, I would like to reach out to you all with an update. The development team have confirmed that they intend to resolve this issue wherein disguised Eivor walks at the slowest speed regardless of settings in tomorrow's update!

This update is due to be deployed 16 March, 2021 at 1PM CET/8AM EDT. You can read the patch notes and learn more here.

If the issue still persists for you following the deployment of TU 1.2.0, please can you provide us with a video that shows the following:

    • You have TU 1.2.0 installed. You can check this in the title menu in the bottom right-hand corner.
    • That disguised Eivor still continues to walk at the slowest speed in-game regardless of the chosen settings.

    Thanks all! 😊

I didn't see it in the patch notes and was so fed up with missing events because of this bug that I came by this forum to see if anybody else was raging about it. This official response is an extremely welcome sight. Can't wait to actually play again, fingers crossed it actually works.

    @roskmeg If you say so.
All other PC players (I've spoken with more than 20 friends, + online comments) - none of us have this fixed.

It is partly fixed for me. It is not the slowest speed but when I toggle the disguise, I can see it is certainly slower than the normal walking speed.

Still seems to be too slow to be useful. Maybe a tiny bit faster than before but not by much. Definitely not normal walking speed. Good job Ubi, can't say I'm surprised at this point.

it felt the same for me at first because i was still in 6 walking speed. after putting it to 10 there's a significant difference, before the update you walk the in the slowest speed possible regardless of your walk speed setting while disguised.

It's quite a significant difference from before @BojanZdjelar
