This weird bug is happening to me all the time, sometimes the skills and abilities preview video works fine and some other times its like it's speeding, also the map everytime I zoom out its not focused to the main area. Here's a video of someone with the exact same problem as me:

I'm on PC and i noticed, that the preview videos for the "bigger" skills are fast-forwarded so you can't see what's happening exactly. It usually works normal at first and when i get more points and try to watch those videos they are suddenly really fast and i have no idea what causes that.

please fix it!

Since yesterday the ability preview for skills you learn through books of knowledge aswell as skills you get for spending points is sped up and basically in fast forward. Any idea why? I checked the entire options list, I can't see any setting that I may have accidentally triggered to cause this and I could have sworn that it wasn't like that on tuesday when I started playing.

Camera also moves faster when moving it and I'm not sure what else it affects. It happens after completing quests or events.
Restarting the game seems to fix it but it keeps happening after completing more quests and events.

@obsoleteeffect - I've seen those videos move faster as well and I thought I was crazy and perhaps it was always like that.
I don't really care, but since people are mentioning it, it indeed seems like a weird bug.

That said, I also think the videos are displayed too small anyway.
What's more, they're of poor quality in different ways; The videos have a low resolution and bitrate.
They're of a weird resolution that's near SD, although it should suffice for the small preview-windows.
But even though they're displayed small, you can tell they're low quality.
Some of them also show the game stuttering.

I would've done the ability-demonstrations cleaner, for example in that same area Eivor is in when you load the game, then spawn in an enemy and perform the ability.
Then just make the videos a bit higher bitrate and at 720p, then also show them a bit larger in the menu so that it's clear.
It doesn't help that the game's camera-angle is so wide either, making it extra-hard to see what's going in the previews.

I know it's a small thing, but come on... It seems sloppy or like they just plucked some clips from existing recordings.

I love how one year has passed and this bug still hasn't been fixed.

to be fair, the updates say its "resolved" from time to time. so at least they tried?

@lemmie88 It has never been fixed in my experience. I just delete them because they annoy me. Then its just a black video where the animation would be.
