Hi. I'm unable to finish "A Wise Friend". Valka is stuck waiting for Randvi. I also just finished my third pledge mission and can't end the pledge because Randvi won't talk to Eivor.

I am having the exact same issue I have lost about 10 hours of play already on another bug and have seen posts about this from 39 days ago and nothing has been done if I reload I will loose a full arc and more time so If there is anything that can be done would be great Ubisoft

Experiencing the exact same problem, i've tried every workaround i could think of but nothing seems to fix the bug

I just looked at the Known Issues, updated on Dec 18 (this reply was posted on Dec 19), and it doesn't mention this bug, which is strange because it seems like a lot of people are having the same problem

Some people are saying that doing the Alliance Map Quest at the same time as this one fixes the bug, but I did that quest long before the Valka one, and I have since deleted the save before it

Im stuck in the same spot now, i built her hut and she still wont walk past the top of the hill, and I have Randvi in the state I can't talk to here? I don't have a save game before this state to go back to..

I have the same Problem, Valka gets stuck in front of the longhouse. No suggested fixes worked so far, it is so frustrating that ubi doesnt even acknowledge this bug.

@utzung randvi was in the longhouse for me, how do i push her?

I've got the same problem. Finished all quests prior to A Wise Friend. Finished the Story Arc in Grantebridge and can't continue the main story whatsoever. Tried verifying the game files already. Reinstalled the game twice. Doesn't fix it. When I travel to Norway and back Randvi is at the top of the hill, but when I get the crate for Valka at the docks Randvi has moved back to the Alliance Map in the Longhouse. I'm forced to put the game aside until this is fixed.

@nexxolae90 same here i cant progress at all so now im just waiting for the patch god knows how long that will be

valka gets stuck at the top of the hill and is now keeping me from playing the game as a whole please please fix

So what happened with me is I bought the ultimate edition of the game, I played a few hours and I received the "A wise friend" quest, however I decided to do some side quests and a bunch of exploring and raiding before completing it. I came back to my settlement with hefty amount of resources and I was so ready to upgrade my settlement. I built like 3 buildings and reached level 3 settlement. Then I decide to spend some more money on helix credits and buy some resources to upgrade my gear. 5 minutes later I decide to do the infamous "A wise friend" quest. It glitches of course.
Ubisoft I'm more than happy to spend money for your products but when a game breaking bug occurs I expect to atleast receive info about wether or not you're working on it. Thank you in advance!

@aiziz5775 I even reinstalled the game! made a new game, the same problem!

Same with me! Reinstalled game and made a new game same problem. She isn't there shes just stuck in the long house!

I Have a problem, i have started the quest a wise friend. But when Valka walks up the hill, she suddenly stops and doesnt move. I have watched the quest from
yotube and i noticed that Randvi is supposed to be at the of the hill. Randvi and Valka needs to talk. but the problem is Randvi is not there. I have tried to go to Norway and back to england it didnt help. I have built valkas hut it didnt help. i have tried to push randvi down from the hill with my mount, but when i pick up the luggage Randvi start going to the longhouse, so this didnt help as well, i have restarted the game and it didnt help. I dont know what to do !!!

Please someone if you have a solution or suggestion it would help me very much Thank you !!!
