Locked Change Gear Appearance

Is there a way to return to previous gear appearances once it's upgraded from mythical to flawless etc. ?
If not I request this feature to be added per patch. The option could be added to the "Details" menu and should be purely cosmetical. The outfits are well designed, but it's all a matter of taste in the end. -
