Fps drops

I'm playing on the lowest possible settings with an amd ryzen 2600&x1600 3gb combo, the game runs fine for a while and then suddenly the fps just drops to 5-10 and it doesn't recover until I restart the game. The hardwares seem fine, no overheating etc..

@lovezlak same problem. I play fine with FPS between 30-60 then suddenly drops to 15... only a restart fixes the problem

Same, no overheating, just cpu usage problem i think.

Same here, tried everything, have it installed on M.2 disc, tried to lower resolution, effects, limit FPS, switch to fullscreen, borderless, windowed. Even tried to turn off fullscreen optimalization. Only thing i achieved is that now the game only uses 23% of CPU, 35% of GPU and 2/16Gb RAM while it stutters at 12 FPS. Honestly, following traditions is in itself no bad way, but Ubisofts tradition of releasing games that are unplayable for months is getting very annoying.

@ubi-swaggins I turned off every background program that i could but the issue is still there, however i messed something in the nvidia control panel and the problem appers more rearly and the game seems more smoother overall.

hi folks,
have some frame drops too until i disabled on Windows 10 in system game settings audio recording;
background recording was disabled yet on my system but not audio and disabling it seems to have magically resolved all my stuttering and frame drop issues.
