    Saving:
Just tried the mission where you're supposed to destroy Kjotve's supplies (Rude Awakening). Traveled by boat, stopped a few places to get both ores and a couple of opals. In the enemy camp, one of my own team members tossed a torch onto me, and killed me. Ended all the way back in Fornburg - nothing was saved since I left from there, including opals and metals I had collected. Save points REALLY need an update!!

    Bugs:
One of the first things I did in this game, was to climb to get some treasure. Got stuck between some ice thingys, screen shaked like crazy, and I simply died.
After that, 4 times (!!!) I've been stuck in plain terrain, again: screen shaking like crazy. 2 of the times I could wriggle/jump out of it. The other 2 times I ended under the terrain and had to fast travel to get out of it.

    Combat:
Clunky as hell. Often Eivor is doing random stuff, and certainly not what I'm trying to do. Not to mention the ridiculous rag doll stuff... By FAR the worst AC combat system, imo.

    Names and such:

    • There's an island near where you start that's called "Ikke en Øy" which is Norwegian for "not an island"...
    • "Fornburg"? I thought this was supposed to be Norway - I'm pretty sure the -burg ending is German, at least originally.

    Ores:
WHY doesn't nodes I have collected disappear when I search with the bird? This is SO annoying!!!

Quite a lot of other issues too, but let's keep it somewhat short for now.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

I really do hope your wrong about this because if your not , this just tells me that so little effort was put in to making this game . "Not an island" must of been like a template for a island name and they just thought " Yano what just leave it like that , they will never no" it's just lazy .

I agree with the combat . It's the worst combat for a hack and slash that iv ever seen . The one thing that makes hack and slash combat refreshing is the finishing moves and the finishing moves in this game are boring .

It's a shame because its got so much potential it's unreal but it just seems like they rushed it half way through

There are a few cities in Norway that use -berg, Judaberg, Randaberg, Brunkeberg, Bergen but I've never heard of a town with -burg in Norway.

    Yes.

"Berg" simply means mountain or rock formation. "Burg" is not Norwegian at all.

Ok, been playing more since the first post, and I'm getting more and more frustrated.

The power disappeared for a few minutes. Lost quite a lot of progress. Again: FIX the freaking save/checkpoint system NOW!!!

And, when scounting with the bird, I'm seeing every freaking node I've ALREADY COLLECTED!

Two issues that shouldn't be too hard to fix, but they're becoming GAMEBREAKING isseus for me! Frankly, if I could get a refund, I wouldn't hesitate to use that option now!

Games always are released with bugs. Cool your jets. Act like an adult and they will fix them over time.

No such issues in ANY prevous AC game. For example, what you collected were gone.

And neither of us, including you, knows what they're fixing or not. Look at G.R. Breakpoint - it took them over a year to address SOME of the major issues.
