Assassins Creed Valhalla crashes and bugs

The latest update has completely broken my game on PS4 - I can't fast travel, initiate quests, and none of the controller buttons are initiating their corresponding actions (i.e. can't sprint, jump, swing a weapon). The only button that responds is L1 so I'm stuck walking around in post Yule Ravensthorpe and am not prepared to restart the game after 55 hours of play. More annoyingly, the controller buttons work fine in the game menu/loading screen, but not the actual gameplay.

I'm having an issue with barrack's/stable masters and not being able to speak to them. This is really upsetting as I have purchased mounts/ birds at the store that I am unable to use. So not only did my [censored] buy a broken game but I also bought downloadable content that I cannot use. NICE WORK UBISOFT!!! I wonder how many other suckers got swinled like me.

I'm stuck at chapter 5 of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. I need to talk to Halfdan but when I get closer to him he falls immediately without any reasons and I can't do anything. I tried many things but the bug remains. Does someone have the same problem ? Do you know how to fix it ?

Completed chipping away and it took away pilgramidge to Albany and won’t let me go to Buckingham so can’t progress further in the story
So how do I get passed this iv loaded it before it happens and trued agin does the same thing -
@minecraftalien had this exact same problem and couldn’t get past it with many restarts and fiddling. In the end I went back to the funeral site and lingered for a but until I saw an auto save logo, then followed the path from the funeral to inside the long house and spoke to her. It then worked. See if it fixes it for you??

I was doing the mission escorting the npc when my game crashed, and when i came back the quest was bugged. For some reason its bugged on the ui and the npc is stuck. I contacted support and was told to wait for a update, that was dec 11th. I was told that going back to a older save would help but when i got the bug I just pledged to another arc hoping that the quest would reset.

Ever since the River Raids have appeared, whenever I return from a raid to Ravensthorpe or upload a previous save I instantly desynchronize. I cannot save my game either - the only place I can save is in Asgard which does not help. Have tried sleeping in the bed, meditating, engaging with all the characters in Ravensthorpe but nothing has worked. May try a reinstall but not sure what else to do...

I'm playing Spiritual Defense quest but the game constantly crashes. I can play the game for only a couple of seconds then the game crashes. I downgraded graphic values but it didn't work. I verified game installation but also didn't work.
