I totally agree !!! I'm still trying to understand what happened to Ubisoft ! . Despite being a big AC fan, I'm not buying Valhalla anymore. So my money goes to Cyberpunk 2077.

On PC game needs to be optimized. Looks like Ubisoft focused on next gen consoles and left the pc as an after thought.

It a bit weird for me, Im on pc. Im assuming the initial area is a bit like a tutorial experience and Im struggling a bit, Odyssy was so well done, I cruised through learning all the skills and the everything worked perfect, plus so beautiful. Im finding this hard to get into as I have e key bugs and cant seem to get side quests completed, plus I gathered lots of stuff for my health and when I pressed H it said I had no rations left. Then went back to settlement to gather more rations and was told I had full bag, Arhh!!
Was so excited to be playign this but now so sad. My husband warned me there would be a few bugs and stuff in the first few weeks. I should have left playign ti a while.

Im hoping they havent been lazy with armours and outfits cause I loved changing my looks in Odyssy, mix and matching armours. Its seems like in this game weapon and armour drops aare few and far between, thats a step back imo. But being able to change hair styles is a step frward, now all I need is something other than plait and bald.

Here is example, with the meadow in the distance with Ultra High settings. I hope this can be fixed, at least to be with little grass...

When are you guys gonna learn? It's literally the same exact thing every release. Ubi doesn't make PC games, they make console games and port them over to PC. Every single game has an abysmal launch and needs to be patched to run half way decent on PC platforms. It happened with The Division, The Division 2, Watch Dogs, Watch Dogs 2, Watch Dogs Legion, etc.... Mark my words, the exact same thing will happen again with FC6 come February. You guys can't keep falling for the exact same thing every time and [censored] about it. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. You will have to wait for Ubi to sort it out and patch it.

What a load of bs.

Pretty much ALL of Ubi's games have run very well on both my new PC in my house, and my 5 years old PC in the apartment where I stay during work weeks.

Bugs is a different story, but don't bother saying "every single game needs to be patched to run half way decent on PC", because that is nothing less than a lie.

Game looks gorgeous on ps4. The only problem i had so far is the stuttering audio.

I agree, game looks like [censored] on ultra high. I literally played through all of Origins and Odyssey the past 2 months in prep for this and there is absolutely no comparison to the other two games to this one. The lighting in this game is TERRIBLE. I am a photo mode fanatic, and the photo mode for this game is also buggy and runs like [censored], no frames and [censored] filters. The photo mode for the last 2 have been amazing, this one is not. Also there is no photo mode area like there is for Origins and Odyssey, I cannot download my photos and share. But they all look like [censored] right now anyway, I am sure ubisoft is aware of this which is why they did not include the portfolio option for Valhalla on website.

I had very high expectations considering how amazing and well done Origins and Odyssey were, I am disappointed so far, but I also have only just finished the part 1 Norway. Hopefully it will get better

GTX 1660Ti doesn't meet the requirements for Ultra settings. Need to have a graphics card that supports ray-tracing. I.E: Should contain RTX in the name.

It's way better than WD Legion especially in performance. +12 hours zero crash, I only stopped playinng because I need to sleep. Combat is not that bad it can be brutal imo (highest difficulty). Idk, your gpu listed recommendations is high settings for 1080p that may explain somethings...

@armedburglar Same Engine..dude. Its the engine they have been refining for 3 games now.You think they remake these things form scratch..lol.So its your imagination. This game is Odyssey with a new set of textures or probably some of the same textures.made by the exact same graphic artists. You seriously thought they rebuilt the entire thing form the ground up. Programming languages use Code libraries of reusable code. Ubisofts is probably massive.

I would like to make a point of the idea of this, an Assassins Creed game, it says so in the title but the assassinations is almost non existing. I know its a viking game, but they might as well have called it For Honor Viking age, cause it doesnt feel at all like a ac game. The way of dodging attacks is not existing, you can use a shield but most attackers ignore it you can parry with your weapons but its so clunky. My character kind of freezes he feels so slow, terrible combat system, and no health regan at all. so you have to go flower picking and berrie gathering in the middle of a big fight, just what you really want....

Playing on PS4. Everything looks terrible; characters look awful, THE CUT SCENES LOOK ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE; AI look like the straw combat training dummies; raven doesn’t move and fly and bank like last games; lots and lots of grammatical errors in Tutorials and Codex; Are the codex descriptions trying to be funny?;

After the last 2 AC games it’s almost impossible to take this game seriously. It’s 2020 for Odins sake. How did you go from silky smooth everything 5-6 years ago to this Tekken garbage?

I paid over $100 for this sub par nonsense. I would seriously rather play AC II with a great story if I wanted to look at blocky unrefined characters. But yet your Ubisoft store looks the a well polished machine. Surprise surprise.

Still trying to figure out how your cut scenes, of all things, you managed to look flippin terrible. With bad voice acting and buggy speech and transitions. Wow. You should be completely ashamed of yourselves.

@dbgager You’re right. They used their code from AC II. I’d like to see a real game clip of you playing and what exactly you are looking at.

Yeah, it's really buggy. I and many others can't progress with the story because of a bug on PS4 that Ubisoft have known about for 4 days.
