I dont know if anyone else is also seeing this but im running the game on an i9 9900K (4,7ghz) and a RTX 3080 running stock. On a 1440p monitor with all settings (except shadows and motion blur) maxed out, but my gpu is only running at a maximum of 16/17% usage, while my cpu is running 40/50% usage. Shouldnt the gpu use at least 80 to 90%?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@zer0-f Im not an expert, but if your game looks allright, why would you wish for 90%?
I had the same problem with my RTX 2080, I had 10fps with 20% gpu usage. I reinstalled the game and it's now working fine, if you preloaded the game you should try to reinstall too.
@zer0-f same on RTX 3090 founders. but frames are good unless I goto main menu or exit full screen to visit forum and some places it goes to crud and I have to reload the game.
On Rtx 2080 Super. IT happened as well but not as bad.
GPU memory use is low on both, half on 3090
i9 cores are dispersed pretty even but talkign a 18-20% cpu usage by the game.
screen shot crashed the game on 3090, [censored]?
also game is blurry in defualt. Used DETAILS filter on nvidia to make it nice and sharp, looks better, adjust HDR
Reran 2080 super bench at full 4k so basically 30 FPS is what you will get.
RTX 3090 at first was doing well then dropped to average 46-50 in game, with cutscenes drooping it to 30ish. Think those are programmed that way .
runnign 4k at 100 percent ratio
ill try to see how it looks at 1440p 100 percent.
@zer0-f
Have you downloaded the new drivers (457.30) Nvidia released Monday? Also make sure the game updated if you pre-loaded it
@longjohn119 i can't play the game if i dont have the game up to date ;). And yes, i always have my drivers up to date. Just installed it before i started playing
@zer0-f keep seeing these posts of 30 series cards being useless in a multitude of games. Early adoption can suck.
@ehllfhire1 its running RDR 2 on max settings (1440p) easy with 120+ frames. It's not the card my man, its the optimisation of those games that suck
@zer0-f im running all max on 4k on my 2070 card. Its your card. Wait until nvidia fixes your 30 series drivers then you can crow. Rest of us just laugh at your early adoption issues. Are you the same zero griefer kid from rdr2? If so we are all happy you have issues.
@ehllfhire1 At 20fps maybe the 2080 only hits 33fps maxed out in 4k. Seriously the rubbish people come out with.
@zer0-f You should already know, that Ubi does slopy job with recent games. Get used to it.
On the other hand it's not devs fault either. They only have such a small amount of time to make the game, so that's why it looks like 2016 with poor optimization.
@matt_gb well i am. I could care less if you cant pc game right to properly set your graphics to the max. Perhaps consoles are better suited for you?
Same ol' song and dance, wait for Ubi to patch it for PC platforms. This happens, literally every. Single. Time. There are no quick fixes, no work arounds. The software has to be changed, the only way to do that is to manipulate the source code. Patches take time.
@zer0-f ..... It's the drivers that are the problem, happens every time a new model comes out ..... Some games will work fine and some will have problems, the best thing to do is report back to Nvidia ..... It runs just fine on my 2080 Super and uses about 95-97% GPU .... In fact it runs pretty much the same as Odyssey does with the same basic settings ......
When I said to make sure the game updated is because with some people that pre-loaded the game a couple of days early it didn't update to 1.02 like it should have when the game went "live"
