does anyone else get an error message if you hover over a screenshot you or someone else took yesterday on the world map? The ones i took today work fine, i hover over and theres a preview with the amount of likes and so on. But if i hover over one, not even my own, from bevore today it loads and then theres the error message "theres a problem with online services [0xb0000000]"

that's because online services are not properly sized, so on launch day they may have temporary outages since there is a rush of people.

it has happened with pretty much every ubisoft game with online features, sometimes they even had to remove the features like in the ac game with the french revolution for which i don't remember the name.

consider yourself lucky if that doesn't break game features, just some additional stuff like photos...

Hey! I can confirm that we are aware of this issue, and do believe the service errors are due to it being launch day and the server being rather busy. If this continues to happen, please run through this FAQ.

@ubi-spud Also Disabling MISC Legend doesn't hide the Photos.. ..the images are full of spoilers and also clutter the map ..please fix this

Hello, i can see and vote other peoples photos, but when i take a photo and hover over it in the map, i get a "0x20100302" Error and the entire photo thing crashes.
Also one photo of mine works, probably the first one i took. Then it seems the next photo i took bugged me out and now i cant take any new photos without this error

@lanague yeah the issue seems to be the same with my photos, if I hover over one it loses connection

@abraxaz13 im playing on pc and I always get that online service error message pop up all the time on the map also while im trying to look at my photos that I have taken, the online error code is [0x20100302] its super annoying!

@danjkay that's the rub, they are unwilling to invest in a proper backend sizing, but still everything in their games is made as if the online service is always available and the game have a rather obnoxious comportment when it's not.

@ubi-spud Cloud IaaS (Infrastructure As A Service) offerings from Amazon, Google and Microsoft can make scaling up and down server infrastructure trivial with dynamically saleable server provisioning technology. There's no excuse for underestimating server infrastructures with excuses of 'launch day busy' in this day and age. Is Ubisoft trying to provision, host and manage their own servers? If so they are failing the player base with online service errors like this and should leave it to the Cloud experts, especially when the corporate business model is Games As A Service, or Games As A Disservice when so many online service failures like this keep happening. Looking at the board of directors there appears to be no CTO-type position at Ubisoft. Maybe there should be one?

So glad I'm not the only one, it's driving me insane. This didn't happen in Odyssey. I do think it has to do with the photos because they all are gone. If it's just photos not syncing no biggie but the error makes it seems like you are going to lose your cloud save or something. My network is fine, so definitely on Ubisoft's end or whichever cloud service is being used for photos.

0x20100302 error every time i open map, its annoying, pls fix it... (pc version)

I'm also having this issue. I had it a few times before I took any photos randomly but now I've taken one photo it comes up every time I open the map. Please fix this!

I have the exact same problem (online service error 0x20100302 when looking one of my pictures on the map). this problem occur day after day.

I'm still getting the error 0xb0000000 when trying to view photos. It's a week after launch, so can't be launch day issues. Any word on a fix?

Also having this issue on PC, and it's been a week since launch.

@prophetykone Same here. It is now Nov 17th and every time I open the map I get that error code. [0XB0000000] it's not necessarily ruining the game for me but it is a bummer and it is annoying.

I've had an online service error from Ubisoft multiple times and when it happens, even though I do manual saves every 5 to ten minutes, I lose hours of gameplay. I have to quit and reload the game. Does anyone have this error too. Me and my girl have this error. Worst one we had was losing 10 hours of gameplay.
