Honor bound/Free your crew quest BUG!

Hi, I have issue with Honor bound quest where I need to free my crew but game does not allow me to interact with/free NPC which is outside of the prison cell after the first "boss" fight. I already tried multiple solutions like restart the game, reload earlier save, start new game or reinstall whole game but nothing worked...it is game breaking bug cause without this quest completed I cant progress further into the game.

Do you have HUD turn on or off? To free NPC outside of cell you need to press C not E

@jan_lambert No hud is on, just started a fresh game and now I cant loot the chest at the top of the ice tower thing in the first area. Come on ubi, another bug all within the first what 10 mins of gameplay!

@ajcollyer I'm on xbox one and having the same issue; its really weird because I had already gone past this point with no issue, then came across another critical point I couldn't interact with, and restarted the game.

not the same npc; i had found a warrior (drengr?) in a cave, but could not talk to him at all despite the speech bubble and '...' so i went and collected things in the cave. came back and on my way out could talk to him. it seems very random that objects and npcs you sometimes can, sometimes cant interact with.
(i wish i had not talked to him, no spoilers here, lets just say i wound up having to find the cave and re-collect the things i collected again...) -
I figured this out after quitting and restarting twice. I had Couch (C on PC) set to HOLD instead of TOGGLE. Once I switched it to TOGGLE I was then able to hold the C button to release the bound prisoner.

Same issue, just installed the game, game breaking bug 15mins in. very impressive.

@valkyrie118 Did you install the update? Freeing prisoners has been moved from C (crouch) to E (interact) meanwhile.
