CONTROLS CONFIG: Too many conflicts to change!

So this sucks....
I want to go back to the controls in Odyssey. But actually can’t.
there’s now too many actions that will allow a changed configuration without conflict!
which sucks because these controls are horrible.
I don’t want to attack with the bumper buttons!
has anyone managed a successful re-configure?!!

yeah i missed the alternate setup on odyssey/origin as well
i changed a few things and it just lets you play and see if the conflicts cause any issues
i know for sure you have to resolve issues within the same sections, like the fighting section or the navigation system etc -

Does the conflicting input make your character not respond for like 4 or 5 seconds? I'm using a controller that should work without problems but when I aim the bow and hold the trigger it locks it and I can't move or anything until It runs out of stamina. This also happens when I get low health in CQC and try to heal or dodge but instead of standing still it repeats the action I input before it started the bug. so ill just start walking away in the direction I input and I won't regain control for at least 3-5 seconds,by that time I'm dead and will be forced to try again.
I bought the game on uplay but wanted to use my switch controller, I tried to get it to work on uplay but it doesn't want to and I'm not sure why. So instead I just play through steam. -

Totally agree, ive spent most thbis morning trying to imitate CLASSIC / close to Odyssy controls buts is basically impossible due to the amount of conflicts
please give us another control method
