Dear Ubisoft, I started the game, all right, but when i get to the character selection I press the A button to select and nothing happens, please help me, i spent 70 euros for this game and i would like to enjoy it

@fourhorseman2 It seems to be caused by setting the Hold Alternative option on. If you change that to off it may fix the problem.

@mefestofel6 It's fixed it, haven't had a problem similar since.

just tried it literally about 5 minutes ago, it does not work.

Why can't I choose the gender of Eivor just after starting the game about 10 minutes? Xbox One S. I push the A button, but notthing happens, wherever I pull the cursor of the 3 possibilities... Any ideas?

Im getting the same issue on xbox console. Not cool at all. 60 bux and i get a teaser instead.

I can play through the start of the game of the game as kid Evior, but when I get to the part, where the kid os on the ice, of choosing gender, I’m stuck! My game won’t load my option!! Help! I’ve restarted the game, my PS4 and reinstalled!

Hello, does anyone know why this problem occurs? After introductory scene when game tells you to choose Eivors' gender the PC mouse input seems to be not working. You can move the mouse around and visuals and sound aren't frozen, it's just that it doesn't let you to press it. I've tried to use different mice, to change controls to another key (but it still asks you to press left mouse button), to restart the game several times, restart the PC, I've verified game files and the problem is still there. Is this a bug and is there anyway to resolve it?

Same problem with me, can't either choose male or female. hold left click nothing happened. After reinstall, same problem occurs

found a solution to the problem!
in the interface you need to disable alternative hold!

Can’t choose character after prologue tried everything reinstalling restarting nothing works major upset needs to be fixed soon like tonight

Having the same issue, can only watch the intro but not select anything afterwards.
