Moved Stuck in a white screen

Just started a new games, after the first cutscene, it shows a white screen with a loading/autosave symbol at the bottom right. I can ehar the background noises of general chatter but it does not progress past this point. It just keeps running the loading/autosave symbol on the bottom rigth and keeps me trapped in purgatory. Starting another new game did not help and neither did pressing continue from the main menu. Any suggestions?

Same trhing has happened to me. Have tried rebooting, new game, and verifying files. Can't believe the game is broken immediately. -
@toasteroven47 I managed to get it to work, try this for yourself. Set the graphics settings to low preset. Then run it on fullscreen with the lowest aspect ratio you can set. Then start a new game. After that it should run after loading for abit. That is what worked for me anyway.

nope.im not using any vpn. i just log in into my ubisoft and the game was available to download and play -

Have you all updated your graphics drivers?
AMD Radeon should be 20.11.1
Nvidia GeForce should be 457.30 -
Had the same issue. Even after updating to the latest graphics driver.
I don't have much advice but keep trying. At one point, after restarting the game several times I managed to get through, still took like 1 minute to get past the white screen but eventually it worked. -
is it the white screen after we went through a hole at the 1st cutscene? got the same problem here.
already like 8 or 9 times crashed -
