I’ve really enjoyed these new generation of assassins Creed games, largely because of the sandbox type gameplay. What I didn’t like about the old games was how linear that they could be. Being desynchronised for running too far away from the objective, and a myriad of other restrictive limitations on gameplay and player freedom to approach things as they wish.
therefore these new games have been much better gameplay wise I feel.
so I’ve been really excited about Valhalla because it seem to be all the things that they have learnt from AC origins and AC Odyssey combined with some new ideas, and it seems heavy emphasis on actually greater respect for the players intelligence. You know you now have to do some detective work and figure out what to do. they seem to have done away with endless icons and objective markers constantly telling you which way to go.

@grundged After a hour or two game play I can confirm that's it's NO Odyssey beater. Odyssey being a much better game with much better combat. Valhalla feels very dumped down and I have to say, slightly boring when compared to Odyssey..
