Yes guys. I didn't expect this from you!

You handed out copies to people who didn't give you a dime and gave them the opportunity to play ahead of time, And those people who had previously paid for a still "incomprehensible" product showed them the middle finger!

    Bravo!

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@alexromanoid yeah, Ubisoft did a solid one on this one!

i mean if they wanted to disappoint the regular gamer who pre-order the game, then they succeeded!

You do realise the majority of the peeps sharing on YouTube just happened to get their bought copy early, right?

So many people in these forums with such a sense of entitlement, sounding a bit like spoiled kids

@alexromanoid They handed them out to people who have spent years and thousands of hours building a successful YouTube channel and who in the past have sold a metric sh__ton of games for them ......

For instance RadBrad's first episode has gotten 1,444,406 views and 90,877 likes ..... If only 10% of those people who liked the video buy a copy of the game that's 9087 units sold .... for a $60 investment

    That's just smart business .......

    @longjohn119

Here is the thing that makes Brad special and why he has such a large fan base ..... Ubisoft offered to let him take part in the 2 earlier demos and he turned them down because he wanted to share with his audience his honest reaction to playing the game from the very beginning ..... The man is about as humble as you can get and after I play through part of the game I'll go back and watch his videos because his reactions and banter is just fun to listen to and watch ......

@longjohn119 So why should we not get it early since we payed for it? More people playing = more people streaming therefore more game exposure. What does it hurt to let preorders play the same time as streamers? Legit want to know why? Don’t give me any bs about they bring in buyers. I want to know why they can’t let preorders play early they already have our money. The advertisement from streamers has no affect on people who have preordered. So why not give early access to loyal fans who don’t need a streamer to hold their hand and tell them to buy a game.

@longjohn119 It's so ignorant that game companies do this, especially for content creators, seriously! I don't give a flying F that some have gotten a lot of views, the people who actually pay for the product should get to play it the same time as everybody else, including the entitled content creators. Sigh, this really pisses me off, but it could be I haven't had my morning coffee, I don't know.

@longjohn119 No, it's actually Ubisoft just giving a flying FU to the fanbase who actually paid for the game. Let players who bought the pre-order play at the same time you release it and authorize it for play to the content creators and problem solved.

I do not care about streamers, because for me personally it is dust, people who do not bring any benefit to this world, at all.
Moreover, dear, if you think well.

You will probably understand that if a pre-order has already been made, it is not very interesting for them to watch how someone plays before for my money.
And yubisoft had to make the same early access for those who gave them their money ahead of time.

    This is so logical!

And this in no way affects their sale.

Dude, do you work as a child psychologist?

Do you understand what you wrote yourself?

I see that you have not a drop of your own dignity.

@alexromanoid oh I know exactly what I have written, regardless, you're close enough with regards my profession actually.

    Kids have an excuse...

People on here, whining because someone else gets to PLAY A GAME before them however... not so much. Especially when they make (the erroneous) assumption that everyone streaming early is a streamer or so called influencer that has received a copy from ubisoft.

Hilarious that you raise the point of dignity

@darcadlan Because you are only making Ubisoft $60 compared to RadBrad and others bringing in thousands of dollars in sales ...... These guy EARNED this privilege by hard work and building a successful YouTube or streaming channel .... They give these people a $60 game a couple of days in advance and they get back thousands in sales

It's not a hard concept to understand, it's just basic good business practices ...... It's a cheap and effective way to promote your product

@longjohn119 I understand the concept of streamers. I don't understand what it hurts to allow pre orders to get same early access. I've also gave them way more than $60 over the years, I give them more than that everytime i buy a game as i don't ever buy the basic tier.

@darcadlan I agree to the argument to not give exclusive access to streamers (if not also journalists) but this post is very likely about the people who got the game early due to buying the game in Asia where it was release ~1 day earlier due to the time zone.

@gcc1984 Post predates that. streamers have been playing since friday when i noticed maybe sooner. Also don't care if they get it early just saying they should share the love with their fans

@darcadlan I am aware of that and it is now (unfortunately) usual for all new game releases.
From the timestamp it just looks like the poster was seeing a lot of streams that appeared when the game released in Asia.
