Moved Ps4 controller support on pc?

Anyone know if the game has native support for ps4 controller? Icons and all. Cant find the awnser anywhere.

@linus_hoffmann i think if u bought the ps4 version and/or play it through backwards compatibility is compatible with the ps4 controllers but if you upgrade free to the ps5 version or just buy the ps5 version then you have to use the new dualsense controllers. As for pc support i think the dualsense are compatible but not 100% sure.

We're still awaiting confirmation on that at the moment, but with Assassin's Creed Odyssey there was native support and so it's likely the Dualshock 4 will be supported nativelyOfficial Response -
You can use DS4 controller wired only but it does give the correct icons in game

Why no official response from Ubisoft stating that PS4 controller native supports on PC exists? How do you not know on Nov 8?
Yes, the PS4 controller is natively supported for ACV on PC as I purchased the game and have confirmed it works. -
@plan3tcrackr yeah on this post it says it's only keyboard and mouse supported on PC but in their own options settings there's the option for Keyboard and mouse, controller or a hybrid options which means you can use both so they must be supporting it because all the playstation buttons appear in game on PC.

@plan3tcrackr At the time of my message we had no had the information officially communicated so while it was likely that it would Support these controllers, we were unable to officially confirm that at the time of our message.
@Day_Walker_83 I believe it may be due to the wording of the article, as all the controllers mentioned there should be supported for PC, but we can certainly pass on that feedback to the team.Official Response
