recently, i was noticed that the bloody, torture effects and scenes of asian version's Valhalla is adjusted because Japanese CERO.

i post this information at a taiwanese game forum, a great of deal of taiwanese fans of assassin's creed have immediate got [censored] off!! and a lot of taiwanese are doing refund for pre-order!!!!





we have watched the trailers and demos of Valhalla for months, all of us feel impressive by the Viking fighting style and character-------------------- bloody, violent, severed limb. we were looking forward to become a real Viking warrior on 10th november.

however, after we watch so many bloody trailer, now we are told that asian version is adjusted??? we feel cheated by false advertisement！！！！


what is the most ridiculous is the adjustment due to Japanese CERO!?!!?? what!!! the japanese CERO design what a game the whole asian people play!?!?!? it means the japanese player eat japanese CERO's [censored] , then we non-japanese asian also have to follow japanese to eat this [censored] !?!?!? we pay the same price as USA players and European players to play a downgrade game!?!?



the taiwanese and chinese players want to know whether the Australian and European version provide chinese interface and subtitle. however, i have been told that only CERO censored version of the PS4,5 provide chinese!!??!??

Is this really happening !? and I'm looking forward to play this game for a long time too after I saw all the gore and dismemberment.

@zhenfeiniao6268 I am a Chinese player. We want know if there will be a update to fix this problem on the first day game released. If this problem is not going to be fixed, I will refund and I will not support Ubi games anymore. I believe most of non Japanese Asian players are also angry Ubisoft and may make the same choice.

After the official announcement, I think Ubisoft&Sony have no intention to solve this issue. Ubisoft just repeat their official announcement. On the other side, Sony have no any inform to the players who are preorder this game. I am very dissatisfied for that. Do you think Asia Player refections are not important? As a Assassin's creed fans, I feel disappointed and angry. If this issue will not be solve, it will be the last Assassin's creed game for me.

I also the player from Taiwan.. and impacted by CERO's policy.... or it should called UBI's policy....

Because of the Asia version of "Valhalla" is to ban some "uncomfortable" screens which is the most reason we want to play the game......
So I plan to buy this game through my Australia PSN account.
But after confirmed with UBI, it's only Asia version we can play in PS4.

So I need to cancel my pre-order and try to play this game Valhalla in the PC.
And this spend all of my weekend to learn this, because of UBI disclose the information at Saturday (3 days before the game release)

I just wanna say that this strategy is ridiculous.
It was found just before the release date. so many people didn't even know they order a censored version including me, and some of them even cannot refund their game. And Ubisoft decide to ignore our opinions and choose to pretend nothing happened.

At least make a public announcement even you can't change it!

But I can't stand to play a game which is not complete. We don't need to follow Japanese rules.

Such a decision made everybody living in Asia but not Japanese very uncomfortable.
Sounds like there's only ONE nation has the thing called law in this area and you ONLY need to show your respect to Japan and that's all. Then what are we? Savage? Rubbish?
