I am a Chinese AC player since AC2, CERO doesn't have the authority of censoring the whole asian market, neither shouldn't you, ubisoft. I don't buy it.

We are Chinese players, we don't need to comply with Japanese regulations. Ubisoft's practice is disgusting.

This is not a fact, you really don’t need to act like you’re a Ubisoft developers or someone else that related to Ubisoft.

The main problem is Ubisoft find out that JP physical version need to CERO but Asian version doesn’t.
And if Ubisoft make two version together can make a great cost down.
Just because they think JP can represent all Asian region.

I’m Taiwanese, don’t need to be under CERO

I'm a big fan of Assassin's Creed. If Ubisoft doesn't change the data, I won't buy any Ubisoft games in the future

Since it's forced by Sony, then we could ask for refund if you have pre-ordered.
In fact, i considered to purchase a Xbox for the coming cross platform games if Sony insists to do so.

@zhenfeiniao6268 Agree with you! I decide to buy the game after I saw the trailer but now I decide to not buy the game after I saw the announcement! Thanks to Ubisoft

I’ve refunded this but I still wanna do something for my rights.
I’m a PlayStation player and I don’t need to be a second - class citizen as a player.

As a Taiwanese player, we’ve been through Watch dog and ACU censored.

And you wanna convince me that all decision made by Sony?

Hope all the players from different regions can understand that all we try to do is get a complete version instead giving us 「Vicky the Viking」

I have to say I'm worrying about a further crisis for Ubisoft if they do nothing to correct this issue.
I wrote this idea in another post relating to the topic:

Based on the story they are telling, a game like AC:V or any other games in AC or Watchdog series WILL NEVER BE OFFICIALLY ALLOWED to sell in China mainland.
Ubisoft was so lucky to have a thing called "market" in China mainland because Chinese players love them, they defend their love in a way like don't ask then nobody tell. They just pay for the disc via small game dealers or accessing HK/TW psn store to buy the digital copy and play it secretly.

If Chinese players got [censored] like they are totally ignored, some of them might take their revenge in a very localized way: since it seems like in this time Ubisoft doesn't care that much about these ppl, they could nominate Ubi as, "a software company selling game copies promoting 'western values' illegally in socialism China", a proper reputation in the eye of Chinese government.
Ppl could manage to do that easily. No need of collecting over 100 thousand signatures to be noticed by the authorities, there is a form especially for REPORT, about any relating issues or activities which doesn't follow "the core of socialism values", lying in there on the website of Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China.

Then there comes the real thing called censorship, not just no game to play for one time, there will be no Ubisoft in China anymore.
Similar things actually happened before. In May 2020, the whole Chinese PSN store was forced to close by just one report send by a SWITCH player located in China. His point is, since the Chinese version Nintendo SWITCH cant get access to any of the game stores other than the China official one (almost no game in there) nor play any foreign game disc, why you Playstation players could do that in the same country? He send the report, and then Sony was forced to act. Though there's nothing wrong with the Chinese PSN store at all, it was closed. The authorities doesn't care about the details. (and dont ask me what other things Sony did to manage to survive, it's off topic for now)
Of course there are not so many players use the Playstation to play the specially censored AC:V game only for PS4/5 in China, but no one can make a promise that if you treat these ppl like they are nothing to you, nobody would be so extreme to turn into suicide attacker in rage. Like "since I cant play it properly, no one could, no matter which platform you are using or which game you are playing from Ubisoft"

Plus if ppl want, they also have other options helping Ubi establishing a bad reputation. Such as to exaggerate a little bit of their weird attitude towards the jurisdiction of Japanese laws over other East Asian countries, who were suffered from Japan in WWII, in front of the easily provoked nationalistic public of China in their social media.
Most of us can imagine the reaction of the latter.

If these happened, things will be out of control.
And if you dont do what you should do ASAP to console these ppl who loved your games, who made you a market, I cant make sure my post wont inspire them to do these awful things either.

I'm a player of Playstation in Asia. When I saw the news, my heart was full of disappointment and anger. From assassin's Creed 5 to the latest Odyssey, I won the platinum trophy for every work. I'm an old fan. This time, I refused to pay.

    We need blood!

    We need fairness!

My life is a mess and I don't want to have a bad game experience
    我的生活已经一团糟了,我不希望在游戏里也一样。

    PS4/PS5

The Asian players don't want regional difference

It's affect the game experience so much
    It's Japan CERO
The rest of Asia Have no reason to following that thing
We want cancel the regional difference for rest of asia
I won't call It racism, but It is indeed disrespectful to us

    We need this be solved

    Edit 1:
Cancel regional difference for us who not belong to Japan
We don't need to follow Japanese rules.
We don't need to follow Japanese rules.
We don't need to follow Japanese rules.
We don't need to follow Japanese rules.
We don't need to follow Japanese rules.

Japan is a country of Asia, but Asia is not Japan alone. Per Japan’s CERO, it need check 18+ game for some necessary ban. Ubi you could not apply this rules for all Asia country and Australia. I’m from China, here many PS platform players who are not satisfied with this ban for whole Asia area. We are looking forward to your further action for this feedback and update version to distinguish JP and other countries.
