Hey! I've been considering switching my pre-order version from PC to PS4 Pro, but nowhere on the internet can I find information regarding the fps limit on the PS4. I've heard that Origins had a 60 fps mode, while Odyssey did not. What will be the case for Valhalla? Will it have a 30fps 4K upscaled mode, and a 60 fps 1080p mode? Or will it only run the former at all times?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@victuskristus Ah, you mean you wanna try out both PC and PS4 versions? A refund may be possible, but may be limited to a certain version, and would treated on a case by case basis. Basically, I cannot guarantee a refund therefore it's a little risky to buy both.
Personally, I'd check my PC specs against the requirements then compare this with the performance you would expect from PS4/Pro and make a decision based on that. For example, I'm running a 2060 with a Ryzen 5 2600, and get a stable 60FPS at 1080 on High.
@victuskristus Hey there! The PS4 Pro version will run at 4k/30fps and will use dynamic resolution to maintain a stable framerate. No option for 1080/60 as far as I'm aware.
@ubi-spud I see. Would it be possible to make a pre-order on the PS4 aswell, then try playing the game on both platforms, and then refunding the one that doesn't feel as good? I don't know exactly how Uplay works when it comes to refunds, if it's anything like steam where you can play a little bit and then refund?
Thank you for your quick response!
/Victor

@ubi-spud Alright, I have a 970 with an i5-4460 cpu, so I'm definitely on the lower side. Thank you for your assistance!
@victuskristus No worries! Hope you enjoy the game, wherever you decide to play. Also, the 970 was my card before this one.
Hey VictusKristus, just letting you know that I'll be locking this thread now as it looks like you received all the help you needed from my colleague Ubi-Spud previously. I hope that, no matter which platform you purchased Valhalla for in the end, that you've been enjoying the game and it's been a smooth experience!
