Same problem here. Very frustrating. I miss an option to abandon a quest, to be able to re-take it. Now we will need a fix I guess?

@krughal But I started on 1.0.1 and the game upgraded to and broke the quest. Are you saying I completely restart a fresh new game it will allow me to progress on the latest patch? Arrgghhh this is still not a solution. This could still catch people out with spotty internet who might upgrade before completing the quest after having just free roamed the opening areas.

I have the same issue and already did quite a few collectibles. I won't let those hours go to waste and do it all again. Please fix this ..

I mean seriously guys !!, it’s been 2 days !!, how can you not fix this bug now? Common ! People paid money for this, the least you guys can do is let us continue with the game. Or let us know that you guys can’t fix it on time, and just restart the game

Guys at the forum, found some additional information, it doesn’t help with fixing it though. This is for you guys and not for Ubisoft, since they are not telling us anything to solve this problem. The Seer’s Solace HUD issue is coming from something to with side quests, or opening something that triggers the bug, and so on . The Patch1.02 works, because I tried out my girl’s save during the saved game from when you killed the first boss and can free roam with ship. Don’t do any side quests, or any looting and stuff. Go straight to Fornburg and do the main quest (preferably start with Seers Solace then do the other one). There’s something that triggers the HUD disappearance of the quest. Though this does not help your saves where you put the effort grinding and clearing side quest before entering the main quest (Spent 10 hours hunting and raiding -_-)hopefully this helps player just starting, and please save regularly. And a big OR, Ubisoft secretly patched it(and didn’t tell us) and you need to restart the game to see the changes.

same, there was a fix by reinstalling the game but I don't want to restart all over again. apparently Ubisoft is working on the problem

@jackster1234321 I did go to that place, problem is when I drink the brew then walk until the end of the road with door, and shows i should be anonymous. tried reloading my game still shows

I've got the same bug, wondering whether it'd be better to wait until the next patch but would the patch fix it if the quest is already in operation? I really don't fancy having to entirely restart the game...

Same, I'm torn between waiting it out and seeing if they fix it, or starting again...grim....

@funbagsofsatan I feel you! I'm only a few hours in but I ground a fair few side quests on route and now I'm paying the price for it! xD So much for ordering the collector's edition hey? I might wait until full launch and keep my fingers crossed to see if they release a game day patch for it or something.

I reach valkas hut and go inside but nothing happens. So that means I cannot complete that quest or the Family matters quest so I am stuck unable todo anything. Whats going on! Have the update to 1.0.2 and done I few side quests.

Evidently this has been known for days and nothing was done. Ubisoft need to compensate people. First time I have come across this for a majpr game.

Wow. Ridiculous. I'm lucky I got a physical copy, and I haven't already played 10 hours. Just encountered this game breaking bug with "Seer's Solace" and will try the "fix" with re-installing and playing offline so it doesn't update to 1.0.2.

Considering this problem has been posted first almost 3 days ago and it's now official launch, this is a massive [censored] show and letdown by Ubisoft. I feel like I'm beta testing for the company.
Thinking of it, I'm glad CDPR delayed Cyberpunk for the third time - if it means there are no major bugs on any platform.

Just sank 6hrs in and decided to go do the main quest... and low an behold... I run into this issue.... to say I'm gutted is an understatement...
