Hi, as your probably aware nothing happens when I walk into valkas hut. I’m not much of a gamer I only really play assassins creed games, I’ve taken a week off work to play, will there be a new update soon to fit this story quest bug as I can’t restart now as I’ve put many hours in? Thanks Ashley

How come I cannot do the seer solace quest in Chapter 2? It won’t let me speak to Valka in her hut but it’s part of my quest and it won’t let me speak to her or anything? I cannot progress in the game!

I have restarted the game hoping that this works as I too was appalled at getting stuck at Valkas Hut. Devastated to have lost 6 hours but will stick to main missions until I know I can pass that bit. Fingers crossed!!

So just to be completely sure: I started the game with patch 1.0.2 already downloaded. (I assume anyway). Will this problem still happen to me? I already started exploring instead of going directly to the quest.
Asking because not quite sure if it's related to games starting with 1.0.0 and updated to 1.0.2 since a workaround is to start again with patch 1.0.2 for those people.

@ubi-woofer, is there an ETA on a fix yet? Unacceptable to wait this long to fix a gamebreaking bug.. many players are waiting for a fix to be able to continue the game. It has been 6 days since it has been reported for the first time, have you guys even been working on fixing this?

Ive got this bug as well. 1.02 on PS4 pro. The first issue was after the initial cutscenes and just before the character select screen it overheated and crashed every time I tried. That was my day one experience after pre-ordering the game for full price! Now this Seers bug is preventing me from playing past the 2nd storyline mission! This is unacceptable Ubisoft and hope you properly compensate all of us who have reported the issue you have known about prior to launch.

I've restarted the game as 1.0.2

I have no idea if I will get the issue again. Anyway, I will be exploring Norway.

Please, fix the problem as soon as you can. I am developer and I understand the nervous to do a hotfix.

@ubi-spud Sooo, it's been 5 days now. It's becoming annoying now, this should be a hotfix. Ive discovered the island by now, so I don't want to restart.

I can't make this mission because is not showing on my map and is crucial to move forward with the game. I think is a issue withe the Patch 1.0.2 . When we can expect of fixing this issue? I really like this game and I want start moving forward.

Im not starting it again. I have done all the first area whilst waiting for this fix. Just periodic uodates would be nice to keep us informed i booked a week off work for this game as i do all other main titles i want to play.

It worked!! Went straight to valkas hut and it worked! Cut to cutscene!

@chefgaz I was uninstalling the game and installing again but don't let me load my saves with out patch 1.0.2
