Fix this please. Is game breaking - not a small "We can fix it with the next patch" bug. Your game isnt that fun that I would try to do the Start over and over again...

@amfshadork disgusting support! My friends and colleagues are asking me what I think of the game and if they should buy it. Guess what I am telling them, Ubisoft...?!

@Ubi-Spud I already did the workaround. ( a better workaround is actually to just run straight to the mission from start to finish and do no side activities before)
But honestly, this is unacceptable. It's a great game, but a gamebreaking bug for MANY players. The fix should come today. Priority 1.
Not in a week. I know this isn't your thing to decide, but this needs to get higher up...

@rhevarr Do you mean install the 1.0.2 update and run straight to the mission and it works?

Instal again without update
Load the first save that doest require the patch

Just finish Serrs Solace and update to 1.0.2

I found that if you update the game to 1.02 and do the main story first until the mission "A Cruel Destiny" and then start all side quest and activities, the bug doesn't affect you and you can progress. And this I found after 10 hours of gameplay and facing the bug. Uninstalled the game and reinstalled it. Upgraded it to 1.02. Started the game and completed the main quest (didn't stop for the raid as well). And voila the story progresses.

@ljbean Yes, as many others have already stated. You can kill enemies or destroy chests or whatever, but do not do any side activities like raiding, welth, nothing, just main quest until you finished A Seers Solace. Should take around 30-45 minutes.

I'm having the same issue but I cant restart and do it with out the update because I am one of the people with the problem that I get the gender glitch
Please fix it I spent over 150 aud on this and had hardly any playtime

@death3ater1994 open you previous save and go to the options. In the interface tab turn "hold alternate" off. This will fix the gender bug. You can then restart the game once you uninstall and reinstall and update to 1.02. Don't start before the update is complete or the bug will happen again. Once you restart the game and start a new mission just play the storyline and dont do any side quest and activities until Chapter 3 is complete. Hope this helps.

I had the same issue; I returned the game luckily they took it back. Apparently, there were consumers that have returned the game due to this issue.

@ubi-spud so the official solution until a patch arrives is to re-install and re-start the entire experience. And the patch of ETA is unknown.

Seer of solace Mission is not loading as a marker. Just restarted my game lost last the last few hours, but this is a joke to be fair. You release the game take peoples money when clearly the game is not ready. Come on ubisoft your not disney sort your s**t out and don't screw people over.

You install the game form the disk without being online. Easy as that.
