@ubi-swaggins I did the small island raid, i talked to the people in town, also played orlog and the drinking game. Please fix this and let us know when we'll be able to play without this kind of issues, thank you.

I had the same thing. I'm attempting to get a refund as the game is now unplayable and Ubisoft are just pretending it isn't happening. This is absolutely astonishing

It’s Wednesday morning now at 2:55 am and it’s still broken.

Wednesday morning and “A Seer’s Solace” is still broken. The quest “Family Matters” is in my quest tab but the prompt to head to the seer’s hut isn’t showing up.

This is so bad.. Why selling a game that is not completed done? Drop the price and name it early-acess then..

The quest a seer’s solace shows up but it won’t track. It was teaching before the update and now it won’t. I have tried plying the game without the update but it won’t let me load. How do I fix it??

My save file also keeps labeling itself as “Data corrupt!” so that’s funnnnnn....

I played until the mission A rude awakening with patch 1.0 and after that I updated to 1.02 and picked where I left of. Have not experienced the same issue again.

I have updated and the quest shows on my list but it won’t track. I have tried playing without update but game won’t load without the update. How do I fix it??

Hey guys! This will be resolved in a future patch, however as above, the workaround at the moment is to start a new save and complete this quest before updating your game. I know this isn't ideal, and thank you for your patience while we get this resolved.

Had the same issues as everyone, deleted all save data, started new game, did no side quests and seers mission now works, lost 5 hours and all the gear I found, but at least can play on. Ran the new game with updates, so 1.0.2 works, just don’t deviate from primary mission.

@ubi-spud That's a ridiculous workaround. I sank eight hours into the game exploring and doing almost everything you could do before even getting this far, I took out Kjotve's place with a bow and arrow and found a lot of really cool things and such by exploring. You honestly want all of us to scrap the time we put in to start over? I am the biggest fan, honestly, but this leaves me with a really sour taste in my mouth, after being so excited even visibly excited for Valhalla. This is such a major, major disappointment.

iv done side quests and some mini games and then thought to play some main story, then came across this bug!! please fix it i really don't want to restart the game!

Wow how disappointing is this then!! I guess I’ll just sit and wait for a reply and a patch from Ubisoft because Im not faffing about deleting the game, going offline, going straight to quest - like NO I’m not being told how to play a game just to play a game. Ubisoft are ridiculous.

I am sorry but this is not a workaround. It's been days and this is a game-breaking bug. When is "a future patch"? Those kind of bugs should be patched out IMMEDIATELY. You can patch out performance issues, graphical bugs, NPC's walking into walls or whatever at a later point.

@golfman360 Will try that later, [censored] that I have to lose all my progress and cool gear etc though!
