Valhalla Bug - Cannot proceed with quest 'A Seer's Solace' (Le réconfort d'une Volva)

I have just thought and starter playing Valhalla going through the quest managed to get to Volka when midi video the game stopped and create a bug.
Restarted ans impossible to see the quest on my map although the instructions ask to find Valka Hutt. And when i get there no discussion available.
I tried restoring an old save version, but the same thing happens.
I am gouttes after only a jours of play i must stop!!!!
What now??

Arrgh so frustrating! Wait nearly 2 years for the game to be released and comes with complete game ruining/halting bug right at the start!!.. I wouldnt call this a bug but more a massive incident that should have all the attention of their game developers. Pity.

Hmm, yeah, frustrating. I was able to do that mission, but then had a progression bug with the next mission. Can't continue on.

@lanoxious it's a shame for Ubisoft, this is usually Bethesda's type of thing .... saying that, in game glitches are a laugh in elder scrolls, this is pure torture, ironically I could have re installed and been past where I was if I took the advice in the OPs post, I've invested in waiting for Ubisoft to come to the rescue now cause I don't wanna start again....sighs. I think I'm gonna reinstall....what did you think of what you played so far? I'm feeling once they have got everything sorted, we are in for a treat

If I restart after 10 hours of scavenging and they come up with a patch straight after I restart, the console's going through the TV!

absolutely disgusting !! shame on ubisoft, shame! At the very beginning of the game a huge bug, never pre-order the game from you. horror! fix it, you get paid for it. You’ve known about this bug since October 7th and you haven’t done anything. That I can't play the second mission, you're kidding. i don't know whether to cry or laugh. I want tomorrow morning when I wake up to patch 1.50 so I’m calm until half the game because there will surely be more such beautiful moments from you. You had 2 years to make a complete product but not you spent on WDL ... I would slap you in the pockets. shameful, disgusting and rude. worst realese ever!

Same problem on ps4, Fix it because i'm not gonna play from the beginning. I'd rather refund.

@saulja_boy doesn't let me load my save game tho...says game requires update to load

Ok ... So if I dont want to wait for a fix. I need to delete my 8h of play and restart al over to rush to this quest immideatly.
Wauw.. What a fail on launch this is. Specially cause this was pointed out on 7th already.

Cannot choose Eivor memory-stream after the first cut-scene. It must be a glitch. Playing on a PS4. Anyone else have the same problem?

Same, no way I'm restarting.

There is a solution. You need to restart the game with 1.02 downloaded. I deleted my saves and replayed the intro and could do "A seer's solace".

The glitch seems to occur when we started the game before 1.02 was downloaded, and then let it download and continued playing.

I play on PS4.

@ubi-swaggins Started the game before the update finished, then installed after completing the intro bits/cutscenes etc. Did the raid, and explored a few loot markers, and done the island with the wolves. Same bug, seers solace won't give marker, or activate when at known location
