Hello. I got a review key yesterday (I'm working for a Polish website called Gram.pl) and I had something about 12 hours in. Everything worked fine, but today, when I launched a client after playing (the same day, had to take a break) the client downloaded a patch (about 2,6 GB). After that, when I wanted to continue, I got stuck on a loading screen with a message in the upper right corner saying that there is an installation going and it was always at 0%. When I tried to create a new game, there were no voices nor dialogue text. I tried reinstalling the game. Reinstalling the entire client. Verifying my files. Lost 12 hours of gameplay. And now there's less than two full days till embargo. What am I supposed to do in this situation?
Edit: I somehow managed to get the voices and text to work, sorry for problems!
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@coffincegaming - I'm glad to hear that you were able to solve the issues you originally reported; I hope that you've been enjoying Assassin's Creed Valhalla since!
@Evolution043 - The same to you; I'm glad that you were able to work out a workaround, and thanks again for sharing it!
@Mastenbroek - I sincerely apologise that your update on this thread was missed until now! I really hope that you were able to troubleshoot the issues you were having with the in-game audio and get it working again, but if you do still happen to be having issues at this time, could you please complete all of the previously advised troubleshooting (verifying your game files; performing a clean boot; ensure the game and Ubisoft Connect have sufficient privileges) and then open a support case or start a Live Chat if issues persist so that we can investigate further with you?
It would be really appreciated if you could attach your MSINFO and DXDIAG files to the support case if playing on PC, so that we can review these as well! Thanks!
I'll close this thread now, just as it may no longer be relevant (due to the age of the title update / game version concerned) however we're happy to assist with any further issues with missing / stuttering audio over in this megathread! Thanks!
@coffincegaming Hi, I have the same issue after downloaded the patch, I try all the solutions but not working, may I ask how to solve the problem? Thank you.
@evolution043 Hey there! This is the 1.02 update, designed to fix a few issues encountered before launch. Could you try verifying your game files, perform a clean boot and test again? Also, please ensure the game and Ubisoft Connect have sufficient privileges.
@ubi-spud
Hi, Thank you for reply, I tried reinstall, verify the game, restart the PC, start as administrator, but it's not working, the character just standing there no dialog no subtitle, I don't know how to fix it.
@evolution043 Hmm, sorry to hear this. Could you create a support case for this issue? We may need your save files for investigation. Feel free to let me know when you have done this and I'll make a report.
@ubi-spud
Yeah, I solve this problem, I change the language to EN, it works, and change back to the TC, it solved.
Same problem here. There is no dialogue, just background noises. There are no subtitles either so it is pretty much fighting without any rhyme or reason. I too had to install the mysterious 2,6 GB patch.
