    I picked up Odyssey a few days back, been enjoying it greatly. I've followed the starting few quests, then picked up a load of message board posts to build XP and improve the boat before moving on.

    I'm not sure if it's this approach that's causing me problems, but now I've got to level 27 I can't fight anyone. All my kit is level 27 except my wrist guards and I can't compete anymore, even the odd level 24 side mission that comes up is really difficult.

    I have to admit I haven't played an Assassin for a few years and I'm certainly not the best, but this is the most difficult I've ever found. Is this how it's meant to be?

    @Tull-clancey There are a couple of tips I can give you that may help .... It's very important to chase down Cultists as they become available so you can upgrade your spear which boosts your powers in several ways .... For instance I can upgrade my spear twice before I even get to Athens and again before I leave Athens after the Symposium.

    Another tip is how the armor and weapons system works. You need to pick what your main play style is, Warrior, Hunter or assassin and then make sure all your armor and weapons pieces have that as the top engraving. If you are using mainly melee weapons then you want all your weapons and armor to have the warrior engraving at the top, if you mainly use a bow like I do then you want the hunter engraving at the top of all your armor and weapons

    I also have a couple of play lists on my YouTube channel and just looking at the titles you can see the path I take through the game which is the most efficient way to get as many Cultists as quickly as possible to get my spear level up
