Ok, so I assume we all have the forums bookmarked for easy access. As of late, perhaps a day or two (3 at the most) I have had this issue which is bumming me out and I am losing more hair than I want to.

CMs, I have posted this in the General Discussion forum because this is not a game issue and I'd figure I would get better results here but if you must, move it to the appropriate forum.

I will try to post images but you know how much the forum despises images that are bigger than a US quarter. Never mind, I just saved it to my drive and attach it here 🙄 (CMs, really, how much money do I or we need to donate for this problem to be fixed. Is it really all that much to ask that we could insert an image no bigger than 800 x 600 in this day an age?)

Do you see how I am missing some links were the Yellow Arrows are placed?

I have already cleared my temp files (completely by going Win Key + R, then %Temp%, and finally CTRL+A and deleting all the files within). I have also clear the data, cache and cookies in my Browser (Firefox).

Now, if I open a new tab and google Ubisoft Forums and then click on the Ghost Recon Icon I get this picture, which btw, is the correct Page I should be seeing.

Ok so now the kicker is this, If I go to the URL and copy the whole string, edit my bookmark and post the recent copied string, close the browser, open the browser and click on the new bookmarked icon, I get the same result... the first image w/o the content.

So if you folks have any words of advise, I am interested in following up because I don't know what else to do. I imagine is something simple and I am always over looking things instead of trying to simplify the issue.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

The forum system is having issues. Settings have been re-set as one example, as well as no longer able to upload in-game screen shots (that had been uploaded previously, for example).

Ubisoft proves again that's "two steps backwards".

    ....truth.

Every time I visit here it attempts to log me in, the screen refreshes and logs me out and then I have to manually log in, let the screen refresh again and I'm in. This whole forum set up sucks to be honest.

I guess I wasn't wrong asking if it was time to ask for a donation LOL.

Seriously though, I remember having a very popular forum back in the day and it was not that expensive. OK, so it was only for 1 related thing but still for a Billion Dollar Company, how much are 100 bucks a month or even 1000 bucks a month?

I should have known better than go crazy trying to look for a solution when the best solution was "DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING"

Oh well, I guess support for this forum has also stopped post-launch! 😷
