Hi everyone, veteran player here. Just wanted to share my toughts about the new heroes. Going to make it as civilized as i can (not an easy thing). First let me say that the devs are horribly incompetent or they just don't care about the game. First you sped up everything in the game then to somewhat help to counter that you buff fullblock and add a bunch of heroes who use fullblock. Then to counter this you add a ton of 50/50 UB attacks. Orange attacks flying towards you every second in dominion or get fainted to gb. Then you mess around with HA, everyone gets some HA or gets their existing one sped up. What counters this? Bashes! You get a bash and you get a bash too, every damn hero becomes a 50/50 bash spamming monkey!
The last nail in the coffin for me were the butch lesbian pirate and the acrobatic circus clown. It's like they belong in a totally different game. Both gender locked. Everyone hates gender lock but you still keep adding such heroes. Pirate is still cancer even with the nerfs. Afeera has everything, too much even. Compared to her WL plays like a brick. Then on the side you slowly kill off the problematic characters. Raider became a chip damage hero who needs to land 20 hits now for a kill. JJ got slowed down to oblivion, he's totally useless now. I don't even see any JJ players in game. I could go on but i'll stop here. You ruined my favorite fighting game. The only way to save it is to delete these trash easy win heroes but ofc this is never gonna happen so to save myself from a rage induced stroke i'll just have to quit this [censored].

@Aetherian_ that is the first time Ive ever heard anybody call JJ and Raider weak. Their design is for teamfights. Wide sweeping multiple unbloclabkes in a row and wide sweeping armor attacks also. They are meant to hit many targets with high damage attacks. Not many can compete with them in a teamfight.

Agreed that just about every new hero and rework releases S tier or higher and that is definetely ruining the experience. Same with platform unbalance. Even these dodfe attack changes that are healthy for the game ruin it for console players because of the platform unbalance. Lots of mistakes and deaf developers. Now the Law rework screams shades of the orange man. They just never learn.

@Aetherian_ yeah I think the Jorm rework is overdone too. The wallsplat from heavy is fine but his recovery after achieving this allows you to continue. They fixed Afeera's wallsplat chain and then go ahead and give it to Jorm. Secondly, I don't like how cheap his free knockdown is. Every hero who gets a free heavy attack from a bash with similar damage has a wind up on the bash (except for valk who needs to swipe after a 2 hit chain) yet Jorm can just throw it out after 1 and doesn't need to be charged. 30 damage!? The devs are so arrogant in 'listening' to their player base. Afeera is stupidly OP and the tracking on her kick bash from a chain is broken. She can't be fun to play against for new players. Here's what the Dev team do: Make all new heros overpowered. Release them with 2 weeks early access for paying users only. Reap as much money as they can from impatient players who want to play them. Keep them overpowered until paid transactions decline. Release a nerf to virtue signal they do something. Rinse and repeat with new heros. Where are our new maps that the community has been screaming for for years?? Why is lawbringer being reworked to such a heavy extent when literally nobody asked for it??? Why are the devs deaf?? Do they even care about their player base? Do they even play the game and think 'yeah this is balanced?' .... 'No' is the answer. Typical ubisoft: fantastic ideas, poor execution. This game is slowly dying because of poor development. And pirate was a dumb hero. Put her in the Wu Lin. They made a 'chinese' pirate because I'm guessing they didn't have the balls to make a proper comquistador as that would be 'controversial' and we all know exactly why pirate is gender locked ...
