    Does anyone have a fix that works. I have tried everything on the internet..

    Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues when trying to launch Assassin's Creed Syndicate.

    Could you please follow the steps in this article ?

    If the issue still persist after this, try to verify your games files. You can also try to re-install Ubisoft Connect.

    Also, if you encountered an error message, please send us a screenshot of it.

    I was re-playing AC syndicate for the last few weeks and all was perfect, untill today after Uplay updated itself it won't launch anymore. It shows the logo like it always does before starting up the game but then when it dissappears, nothing happens. I've tried all possible startup options, reinstalled drivers, reinstalled Uplay but nothing seems to work. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!

    Hello there @LennartSchroot

    I'm sorry to hear that your game seems to be crashing after a recent update.

    For this kind of issue, I'd like to please suggest you try out the steps from our support article and also ensure that you have the Ubisoft Connect launcher and the game installed on the same, preferably C, hard drive.

    I would also advise that you make sure no other kind of controller is plugged into your PC (besides keyboard, mouse and 1 controller if you are using one), as this seems to have helped another player.

    Compatibility mode might also be worth trying out to see if that helps at all.

    @Ubi-Pegasus thanks for your message! I've done everything from the article, reinstalled the game on the same drive as the UC launcher, tried changing the USB inputs and tried compatibility mode. Still no luck. I get the splash screen, then it opens what seems to be Ubisoft launcher for a second and then nothing. Any other tips would be great, thanks!

    @Ubi-Pegasus also, I've noticed someone posted a topic 6 days ago stating the exact same problem, so it might have something to do with the recent update?

    Hey,

    I would suggest to try running Ubisoft Connect as admin. You can do this by right click the .exe file for Ubisoft Connect before launching them and choose the "run as administrator" option. Also by right clicking and choosing "Properties" then go to the "Compatibility" tab and ticking the box to "run as administrator" option and clicking "apply". 

    If this hasn't worked, you can also try doing this with the games .exe file in the installation folder too and see if that force launches the game.

    If you have the game on Steam or Epic, you can also do this with those too, so everything is running as admin.  

    Let us know if running either of these as admin helped you.

    @Im-KaiseR only syndicate does this for me i haven't tried origins yet but ac4 black flag works fine and unity works fine as well only seems to crash when i try to take a screenshot with the Nvidia GeForce screen shot stuff oddly but not a huge issue.
    all the far cry games work (anything before 4/primal i haven't played ever but i have played far cry 4, far cry 5, and far cry new dawn.

    @Ubi-Froggard running all the programs as admin didn't do the trick either unfortunately... what's most weird is the game worked perfectly fine untill last week.

    HI @Lord_Vitiate, i can resolve this problem, try reinstall ubisoft connect and desactive overlay in ubisoft connect / settings, i was testing and that was the problem. If when you run the game see someone popup, just run the game
