Unsolved BattlEye Service can't install

i just finished downloading the game a few hours ago, launched the game just fine.
fiddled with the settings and such before closing it
Now I want to launch the game again, BattlEye Launcher give the error "Failed to install BattlEye Service (1, 4c7)."
I tried deleting the battleye folder and verifying through steam, but it didn't help at all
any suggestions?
and if there's nothing I can do about it, is it possible to launch the game without dealing with battleye? (singleplayer only is ok for me) -
