So as the tile says I'd appreciate any help on how to obtain this achievement. I tried multiple times with my sail ships being attacked by Pyrphorian fleet (with frigates, SotL, shooners, cannoners and clippers), so I'd really like to know what means "burning sail ship". It related to HPs? Is it a chance for every flame attack? Better to send a ship against a flame tower?

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey @Nixer992

Thank you for contacting Ubisoft Support.

In order to complete this achievement, could you test this:

    • Buy a flame-thrower or a Pyrphorian Warship from Anne Harlow
    • Attack an enemy ship and set it on fire

If it doesn't work on your first try, keep trying as it should unlock the achievement for you.

Alternatively, you can also build the Pyrphorian Warship after obtaining the legendary ship specialist item Slinky Sinistra, Warlock of Pyrphorian Warships and placing it into a Harbourmaster's Office within range of your shipyard.

Should you need additional support, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us again.

    Thank you very much.

@Ubi-Galaxy Thank You for the answer.
I tried with a couple of incendiary ships bought form La Fortune and I sunk multiple enemy sail ships both mercantile and military ones (also a couple of cargo ships and an oil tanker). I tried a couple of times with a flamethrower (tried it on a SotL so I had a sail ship burning a sail ship) and with also a Pyrphorian warship built in my shipyard just to be sure. I can add that I was on sandbox and that I had the max influence bonus in military. I hope that I was clear with the details.

    Hey @Nixer992

Thank you for the information you provided. From your message, it seems that the issue still persists.

Would you be able to take a video that shows that even by doing the actions required, the achievement is still locked, so we can send it to the dev team to investigate?

    Thank you very much.

@Ubi-Galaxy hi, I tried to post a question on the main forum, but there isn't a button or option so I'm coming here.
I just purchased Anno 1800 and after four hours have experienced a bug that doesn't allow you to cycle through buildings. For example, when building a wheat field I can hold R trigger and select bread. The window opens, but the directional pad will not select windmills or bakeries. It actually does nothing.
I did test the pad within the rest of the game and it works fine.
Other forums for the PC version stated this was a known issue, but I'm on xbox XS. I have restarted, power cycled the xbox and loaded previous saves where this wasn't a problem. No luck.
As this is a major issie for the game, can you provide options?

    Thank you.
