Unsolved [Royal] Respawn Abuse (bug)

Hey everyone,
i just wanted to bring back attention to the respawn abuse bug. The devs tried to fix it around a year ago, but it still works, everyone uses it and it's still gamebreaking and annoying.
How it works: When you see that your teammate is gonna finish the section before you do, you slow down on purpose and as soon as he finished, you press the respawn key as fast as you can.
If you do that correctly, you respawn on the next section way ahead of your teammate. You won't get the extra second, but you don't need that in 99 % of the time anyways (only on specific maps, but they are rare).

Games should not be decided by who can press the respawn key faster. Please fix this, thank you. -

I know that the player dog.. already made a workaround (server plugin) for that. It's gonna be used on the upcoming RNC event.
Afaik he provided the source code to someone of the nadeo team a year ago already, but still nothing happened.
I don't know what the priorities of the devs are, but this could have been fixed a long time ago already.
The Chat-Bug (Royal - ingamechat broken during intro | Ubisoft Discussion Forums) was reported in december and nobody knows why something so simple just dont get fixed. -

I appreciate your input on this and can understand the frustration because of the wait when you are trying to win races fairly.
We don't directly have any input on which issues or bugs get addressed in which order for the game, and can't provide a specific time frame for these.
