@bcihat After not being able to play hardcore mode for about a week (this post No Hardcore missions available | Ubisoft Discussion Forums) I was finally able to do it. However, few hour later I am getting Forest: 00008 error What a mess at ubisoft.
Could we be having trouble accessing Ubisoft servers from our region? Because, since the day this error existed, it does not open in the news section. I am getting the attached error.

I am writing this post to express my deep frustration with the ongoing server issues or whatever is causing this forest-000008 error. As an avid fan of the game, it is unacceptable that I have been unable to fully enjoy the game!
Since your latest patch/update, I have been experiencing a persistent issue where I am forced offline and cannot earn any XP from progression. Furthermore, two of the game modes are completely unavailable. This is a major inconvenience for me and many other players who have paid good money for this game.
I have visited your forums and have seen that this issue has been going on for two weeks now. It is not only frustrating but also a major waste of time for me and others who are waiting patiently for a solution. I expect better from a company like Ubisoft that prides itself on delivering quality games and experiences.
I urge you to take immediate action to fix these server issues and to provide compensation to all affected players for the trouble that you have caused us. I have invested time and money into this game, and it is unacceptable that I am not getting the full value out of my investment.
I hope you take this matter seriously and prioritize fixing the server issues as soon as possible.
@Ubi-Havoc What are you investigating still.It has been more than 2 weeks, and we still get the forest-000008 error.Looks like a small gaming company could solve this problem better than ubisoft.
I am checking this topic everyday. Still nothing. I tried everything wrote on this topic. Getting forest - 000008 since day 1. Also Ubisoft Connect news not loading and this started with forest - 00008 error.
That's not what we meant when we asked for a forester! It's been 2 weeks since the game's release! We haven't been able to play the game for 2 weeks. XP progress not being saved, we can't enter the multiplayer section! The fact that you have not been able to solve the problem all this time, means that you do not yet understand what the problem is.
2 weeks and still no multiplayer. I think that this forest-000008 problem will not be solved by Ubisoft.

I'm really sorry this is still happening to you all. This issue is still under investigation by the game team and when we have an update we will be sure to post it here for you all.
In the meantime, if you run into this error, please generate your MSInfo and DxDiag files from your PC and go ahead and open a new Support case with those files attached so that our specialists can look into it with you. Please also include your Launcher Logs as well as what type of connection you have and who your ISP is.
