There is a huge thread over on Steam forums of players asking for achievements for steam. Why has this not been implemented yet?
After fans made an uproar about Valhalla not originally having achievements on ubisoft connect they were added later. Why have they not yet been added to Steam if the game obviously supports this?
Origins and Odyssey both had achievements and now when AC finally gets back to Steam they dont activate them. Sad to see that Ubisoft is not fully supporting the platform they have come back to. With over 6K replies and counting. Most of which are not buying the game due to this.
Not sure how keeping achievements off steam could possibly be beneficial to Ubisoft when people are not buying the game until they get added.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Fankly, people not buying a game because it doesn't have Steam achievements, must be one of the most ridiculous things I've heard in a long time.
First, achievements are not game contents, they're just milestones for what you achieved in the game. Well, unless you're a bragger who has to show off to friends how much better you are than them.
Second, even if you buy it on Steam, you need Ubisoft Connect to play it. And it has both achievements, challenges and rewards. If you're the type of player who hunts achievements for personal reasons/goals, meaning getting a personal satisfaction of completing as many as possible, it doesn't matter if it's or Steam or not, as long as they're on Ubi Connect.
Third, Ubi didn't wanna use Steam at all, since Valve keeps 30% of the sale price. And at this stage, I doubt they're expecting a huge influx of sale, and therefore won't put much effort into the Steam version.
There are reasonable complaints, and there are ridiculous whinings. You already know where I think this belongs.
