Repeatable in multiple ubisoft titles; Ubisoft Client repeated crashes when changing game resolution to/from 6880x2880 and gives some sort of C++ error. This does not occur with GoG, Matrix, Slitherine, Origin, or Steam titles; only Ubisoft.
Specs: i7 10920X@stock (up to 4.6/4.8Ghz)/32GB DDR 4 XMP@3200Mhz/RTX 3080Ti 12GB; occurs with multiple Nvidia drivers.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

Hey @Druout1944 , thanks very much for getting in touch about this crashing issue in Ubisoft Connect. I understand it manifests whenever you change to or from this specific resolution, and I'm glad you've let us know.
As far as I can see, we've had no other reports of this issue, so I'd like to start with some local troubleshooting, as there are a few steps that we've observed are able to fix the vast majority of crashes. Please see the troubleshooting guide. In particular from the guide, please make sure you are running Ubisoft Connect and any games with administrator rights, you've verified the game files for those games, you've got your graphics drivers and Windows install fully updated (although I appreciate you've probably already tried the latest drivers, given that you've tried multiple), and you've (at least temporarily, for testing) deactivated all background programs.
If the issue persists after those steps, can you get me a screenshot of the error message? This isn't an error I'm familiar with myself, so it'd be great to see exactly where in the client you are seeing it. The resulting images can be added to a response here in the forum thread using the little image icon above the post edit box.
Lastly, you mentioned this happens in multiple titles. Can you give some specific examples of titles where you've observed this?
Thanks once again for your report of this issue. Please let me know if I can clarify any of these steps!
