New Game +, have we been lied to?

Repeatedly I've heard in interviews on video that we would get a New Game + feature for ACV and here it is, the game has ended, yet no New Game +. Has Ubisoft been lying the whole time?

@Tolkyyn I doubt they've been lying, more that they changed their mind about it because reasons. It's clearly disappointed a lot of people, I'm a bit surprised (even though I would not use the feature).

Yep, Ubi[censored] pretty much lied and strung us along for 2 years that it would come and now they recant and say it's never coming. I'm forever done with supporting this company and they have earned the top spot now (above EA) for companies I hate and will NEVER support. I haven't support EA in at least a decade. I wanted NG+ in ACV to experience the story with different choices but NO WAY am I doing the entire grind again from scratch. I thankfully stopped purchasing items for this game as well as never purchased DoR yet because I was waiting for NG+ but now Ubi can go [censored] themselves! I'm done with their crap!
