Wheat for animal farm and forester is all good, but...
Have some questions for the developers:
- Why tower shoot arrows without anyone inside it?
- Why there is no walls?
- Is there alternative way for producing coal from wood?
- Why there is no land fertility for farms or some bonuse when building it on green ground?
- Why there is no butcher for hunter and animal farm?
- Why only some trees is regrow?
- Why there is no good like armor for any of the units in the game?
- Why new forester is a farm and cannot grow trees in the wild?
The game needs more complex and interconnected econony
Can you answer at least some questions and your reasoning behinde it

@ChrisGansler Maybe there will be a "Classic"-Mode with the version of 2019. But I doubt it - you have to be smart to see and release what the community wants. I mean over the past months this was definitely 100% not obvious in the comments.

That will not happen. Either this game is a success and becomes the new baseline for any future settlers game, or this game fails and the whole settlers series dies with it. After Champions of Anteria and this game ubisoft won't try for a third time to develope a new settlers game . Same reason why the 2019 version won't be released.

I can't believe this game is happening... I was so hyped when I saw that economy focused game! And now we have come to this... What went wrong with the original idea for it to be changed to this bland RTS game?

We want old settlers idea, managment, strategy, mine, farm, economical ... we dont want age of empires, rts type .... why devs not read people what we write there. you will burn Settlers with this one.

People have shunned the game for feeling like AOE4 and even down to the camera view being stupid for YEARS.
It still looks & feels like the remedial game that is AOE4.

You guys delayed the game for YEARS and yet, its still the same problem people have been saying all this time about it being an AOE4 wanna be clone, right down to the freaking CAMERA DISTANCE.

What is wrong with you devs.
Clearly there was nothing even done in all these years of delays. Ridiculous.
Ignoring this game and will just play Settlers 4-7. So disappointing.

Why would you think the biggest RTS game flop in history would be a good idea to go clone.

ubisoft can go away and i ll be spending my money else where.

I haven't really followed the development, just happened to check in now...but this doesn't look like the game I paid for a year or so ago.

This sounds stupid. This is not what I was interested in a new Settlers for. Guess I will have to find another game.

I can see so much bad comments.. I like settlers and always will. Yes this is not close to earlier series, but its better than The settlers 5-7 for sure. I will be playing this.

PS. This is still waayy better than AOE2-4 for sure.

They only need to consern the buggs for Multiplayer and game crash'es. After fixing that, they can move on and improve the game. But what @Dato_N said.. Thows request's should be considered.

Still The settlers IV is my favorit, to bad the Multiplayer there aswell does not work propperly. (Desync's often.)

What a disgrace! I started playing Settlers from III, then moved on to IV. V and 6 were bad, but, at least, they were playable. 7 was ok, though a different kind of game. New Allies is a complete flop, though the missions were fun to play. Other than that, playing against AI is not possible because it lacks configurable scenarios. What a disappointment. Get back to the drawing board and resume the Blue Byte approach as in Settlers III and IV.
