In the Glowecestrescire story arc starts out with you finding Gunnar. You eventually do and he gives you a burly cloak and a skull for the festival. And you track down the missing leader while also joining in the festivities of Samhain(similar to Halloween). You do find him in the end. But every time you enter Glowecestrescire the cloak appears automatically on your person. A lot of people were upset because of a bug where the cloak would stay on you after leaving Glowecestrescire. So in conclusion it would make more sense to be able to wear these at any time.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@dominantboy Double upvote on this.
It’s kind of annoying that no matter my loadout, my Eivor is forced to wear that cloak if I enter enemy territory in Glowecestrescire. If I’m sneaking around in an enemy fort, I am not trick or treating in the middle of whichever non-Halloween season it is in the game. HOWEVER... what if I wanted to wear this outfit in Ravensthorpe during Oskoreia or on a trip to Francia? Nope, nothing, nada. I can’t even do my Nightmare Before Yuletide cosplay without the stroke of luck from a glitch.
Indeed... players should have been given this cloak, just like the Frankish Travel Cloak, purely as an aesthetic affectation. Let’s put an end to the immersion-breaking silliness of the eternal Samhain in Glowecestrescire and let Eivor be a skull-headed freak when players decide.
@TheNorfolkian Damn right, man. I’ve noticed that whenever go to Glowecestrescire and fast travel to somewhere else the cloak actually stays. Yeah the bug is still present. But the work around is still there, too. Put your hood on and boom it’s gone. It is annoying but an easy fix. Still a bug like that just make things look stupid.
