Hi,
I'm currently playing AC valhalla which was given in PS Plus Extra. I heard it's leaving the service on 20th December.
I already bought both ac valhalla season pass & dawn of ragnarok edition separately.
My question is will I be able to play the AC valhalla even after it leaves the service?
I know the fact that you'll need the base game to play any dlc content purchased. Since the ragnarok edition comes with base game will I be able to play all three dlcs?
Another question: I tried installing the dawn of ragnarok edition but it shows the following error message
"You are not able to purchase this product for the following reasons
You already own:
Meteor Edition Entitlement"
Do I have to wait until the current AC valhalla version leaves the service to install the dawn of ragnarok edition?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@delonanthony Hi, and welcome to the forum !
I've taken note of your report about an Issue when trying to install the Dawn of Ragnarök edition of Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
If you already own the base game, you should not encounter Issues to play the game.
For the purpose of our investigation, in addition to the error message displayed, can you let us know if there are there any additional error codes displayed ?
@Ubi-MrM
Thanks for the response.
The base game leaves the service on 20th Dec. So, what I'm asking is will I be able to install the Dawn of Ragnarök edition and enjoy all the contents purchased?
The current issue is it's not letting me install Dawn of Ragnarök edition and shows error message "not available for purchase: Tell me more".
Do I have to wait until the current AC valhalla version which is on PS Plus Extra leaves the service to install the dawn of ragnarok edition?
Hey @delonanthony!
You should be able to install the edition you've purchased. It may be having trouble installing if you still have the PS+ version installed so let's try uninstalling that version and reinstalling your purchased Dawn of Ragnarok edition. On top of that, would you be able to provide an image of the error you mentioned?
@Ubi-Chiral there's no way to uninstall the ps+ version. I bought the digital version of the game for ps4, and for some reason, when I signed up for ps+ premium, it switched my copy to that version. Ever since it left ps+, I haven't been able to play. I deleted every trace of that game from my console (that is my designated primary, and has already had the reset/restore license tried btw), including deleting all content from Origins and Odyssey, because of how dlc was listed. It still shows up with the locked "+" symbol (and I'll repeat, I PURCHASED the digital copy). Both the standard ps4 version ("...you already own ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA, ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA "), and the DoR version (..."because of prepurchase Meteor entitlement"), are unavailable through the console's store, and it tries to make me pay for everything else. On the app's store, it tells me I can't download the ps4 standard version, because I "already own the ps5 version" I've never owned a ps5, and "successfully" played the ps4 version for well over 200 hours before the ps+ version even dropped. This game has turned me the whole way off of the series, and I loved Origins and Odyssey. These ongoing problems will probably heal my obsessive need to finish stuff too. Thanks for that at least.
Hi @JTalbot4 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues installing your purchased version of Assassin's Creed Valhalla due to installing the PS+ version previously.
As the game has been removed from the PS+ subscription now and if you have fully uninstalled the PS+ version and are logged into the correct account that you purchased the game with, then you should be able to download and install the game.
We would be able to look into this further for you, however we would need to create a support case to do this. Would you like me to create a support case for you?
