I have come across another frequent problem.

The hunters at the end are a bit too much especially when backed up with load of elites which are also tanky. They don't feel "Heroic" level normal elites. NPCs hit like Heroic, but have armor like Legendary.

Zeroing out skills initial encounter is a harsh.

This is the impact is that often you'll see in random match making, someone becomes "leader" and starts kicking people.

    There are multiple perspectives here:

First - They are selfish, they want faster run and equals more loot and higher chance to finish successfully to get more named caches from countdown vendor and do not want to carry anyone

Second - Selfish or not, it is better for team benefit otherwise the run won't finish and people just rage quit anyway knowing not worth the time. Doing it for those that can finish it successfully as a team. The needs of the many outweigh needs of the few.

Third - Everyone has been there and new to the game. Chances are failing to finish countdown is OK and it is toxic to kick people for low SHD levels 1-100. But then chances are higher SHD players will just quit countdown anyway and re-match make based on their judgement of chance of success.

Solution - Extraction, make it a little easier than overwhelming hunters and normal elites and skills disrupted. If not then this lobby kicking trend will continue and hurt new players. Or leave them as they are and reduce skills disruption time or something else to tone it down.

Me, well hold my hands up. If I see a countdown starting and it's obvious no chance of success I quit the lobby.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@Peter8uk I’ve never personally kicked a player, but seen it done many times. I can look at a group and know instantly wether or not we’re going to make it through. Has nothing to do with skill really, but rather the reach or your sword. (Gear/build) Some players just don’t need to be in heroic and even sometimes challenging countdown. It’s not too bad with 1-3 ish low ranks, but more than that becomes an issue pretty quickly.

Its especially an issue since they’ve changed the Hunter drops. I think this is the main source of agitation.
