I want to use the story creator mode but when i try to get in, i get this 'You need to own a copy of assassin's creed odyssey to use the story creator
If you already own the game, make sure you have launched the game at least once, and check that your console account is linked to your ubisoft account.'
I own Assassin's Creed Odyssey, i launched the game at least once and my both console accounts is linked to my ubisoft account.
When i click 'OK' i go back to https://prod-g2w-acod.ubi.com/: (https://prod-g2w-acod.ubi.com/) Im accepting cookies again. Says log in but im logged in already. When i click log in i go back to this thing.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@Siinarooo Hi there welcome to Discussions and I am sorry to hear that you are not able to access the Story Creator Mode. To doublecheck, are you seeing the same sort of error as @wuthyx was? If you have completed the browser troubleshooting guide from above can you also ensure that the "Story Creator Mode" is set to On from your game's Options menu?
@Ubi-Havoc I'm having the same issue. I have tried multiple browsers, cleared cache / cookies, accounts are linked, story mode is enabled in-game. I can see other players' stories, but I cannot log in online to create my own; It tells me I need to own a copy of the game (and I do).
If it matters, this is happening on Xbox Series X.
I can log in to story creator but when it goes onto the page to create a story it says i dont have a copy of the game even though i do. i play on ps5 and i have over 50 hours on the game and this keeps happening. Got a reason why ?
I am having the same issue. I am on PC I have made sure Story Creator Mode is turned on in the game and that my Steam account is linked. I have tried the trouble shooting steps and multiple browsers and still get the same result.

I am having the same Issue. I play on my PC, but I play it through Game Pass on my Xbox Account. I personally know of another person having this issue as well. This is also unrelated, but my save data from my PC is not connecting to my Xbox console when I log into that. It says I have to start a game when I already have progress on my account. I don't know if that also relates to my Ubisoft Account not registering that I have the game.
Hi @Mississippi365 I'm sorry to hear that you are also experiencing issues accessing the story creator mode. If you haven't already could you please go through the steps mentioned in the post above.
With regards to the save data for Assassin's Creed Odyssey, I'm afraid this game does not support cross-progression.
@Ubi-Keo I have also completed the above steps and had no luck. I am using PC and have my Steam account linked. I get to the page by clicking a link on this page: https://assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/story-creator-mode/en-us/: (https://assassinscreed.ubisoft.com/story-creator-mode/en-us) and then it takes me to this page where I Log In https://prod-g2w-acod.ubi.com/: (https://prod-g2w-acod.ubi.com) and when I Log In I get the notice saying my account is not connected.
@soccerisom Hi there
Thank you for the additional information! I have forwarded this to the team.
We will let you know once we have more information
Same issue here. Playing on a PC, bought AC Odyssey on Steam. Has anyone with this problem successfully figured out how to deal with this?
@Pilotboy Hi there and welcome to the forums
I am sorry to read that you are affected by this as well!
Our teams are still looking into the issue, we do not have any news at this time. Sorry for the inconveniences caused!
We will let you know as soon as we know more
@wuthyx
I'm having same issue as I owned a copy in PS5. Accounts were linked as well. I have found that Ubi connect web URL listed AC odyssey in the game list, however Ubiconnect application doesn't list the game under My Games tab.
Did you find out any solution on this issue?
Hello @ashgun24 thanks for letting us know you are also unable to use that URL to access the Story Creator Mode website and thank you for letting us know you play on PS5, using a PS4 copy of the game.
Did you also unlink your PSN and Ubi accounts via our account manager website, then relink them, as this is the only workaround that allows players to access the Story Creator website again, that we know of so far? > Ubisoft Account manager website > https://account.ubisoft.com/en-US/account-information
@Ubi-Milky Yes, I have followed instruction unlink and linking PSN account, but it does not work. I have attached screenshot for your reference. Request you to look into this.
