Unsolved [WotD] Unable to complete the quest 'Amber Sun'

I have tried many times now to complete the amber sun quest but nothing is working. I read that its bugged, and I have tried the solutions on youtube to get around the bug. Will this be fixed? Its now october and this bug has been reported for a long time.

Hi @ninjaflipp15 I'm sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues completing the 'Amber Sun' quest.
There was an known issue defeating Balor as he would not die, however this issue was addressed with the latest update (1.6.1) that was released recently.
Please ensure that you have the latest update installed and try again.
However, if the issue persists you please provide a video that demonstrates this issue. In the video we would need to see the following:- That you have the latest update installed. This can be seen on the main menu screen before loading your save.
- That you cannot complete the quest 'Amber Sun'.
I would recommend uploading your video to a video sharing platform such as YouTube, you can then copy the URL link into this thread.
