I'm on PC and after game loads, I can move around for few seconds then game freezes and I have to close it from the task manger.
game was working fine before the today's season 4 update.
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

having exactly the same issue here, screen freezes sometimes after like two seconds in game to max 20 seconds.
also my character acts very strange. tried everything i could do like (repair game / running as admin / running the game in different modes / installing previous graphic drivers / and reinstalling a clean game setup.
Don't forget to report this issue to their support: https://www.ubisoft.com/en-us/help/contact
they will start to investigate if more people have the same issue.

Same issue, after update 10 seconds and it crashes ! sometimes there's a man only biking without the bike. a bug ...
not really cool .
@Bacheh_Mosbat
I am also having this issue. If i open the map instantly i am able to look around in both 2d/3d but as soon as i close the map it freezes.
If i start a Zen mode and alt+tap to another window but still able to see the game window. I notice the physics going all over the place, grass, trees stutter around like crazy and the character model deforms like crazy, long stretchy limbs. It feels like there is something completely wrong with the physics now. From my point of view.
I have tested my rig thoroughly, BurnInTest, PerformanceTest, SuperPosition, Heaven and prime95. I even ran BurnInTest and SuperPosition to hammer my rig.
Tested several other Dx12 games just in case.
I am unable to recreate a similar crash/freeze no matter how much i punish my rig.
@Ubi-MrM everything done.
On my system nothing changes for except Origin. But even after killing it from the task manager - same behaviour. The player character bugs around in the pause menu and after a couple of seconds the game freezes dead. I can see from task manager that the game is using my cpu and loading smth into ram, but the game is still frozen
Same issue. Tried verifying/reinstalling but it's still crashing every time

What an exprience I had with their support, I've received like 10 copy pasted responses from random bots.
if there's a support staff here, can you please report this issue to the dev team?
thank you.
@puckett_04 Same here..
My support ticket is 48hours and still no response from them.
The ticket was "Updated" yesterday morning (gmt +1) and this morning.
In other words, someone at support looked at my ticket, twice, and yet not a single word communicated my way.
As an IT-consultant i have to say, this is bad practice. You should always inform customers whenever you work on their case. Even 30 sec response like "We are looking into the issues related to your ticket" (just an example). The "In Progress" status on the ticket is pretty useless information, it tells us nothing, it is "In Progress" the second the ticket is registrered. Clearly it is not, only recieved.
I have to be honest, my experience with support team isn't good atm.
