    Hello! After the update on 09.08 (yesterday since creating the topic) i got very anoying and strange problem with the game. It's making the siege almost unplayable. The game randomly freezing for 4/5 seconds like everything stoping and then continues. I never had this problem before. I got this freezings just a day after the server maintenance. I record a in game video where you can see the problem.

    This i get only after played few games in a row. Then i get this freezing. After i restart my PC i don't have this problem for few games and then i got it again.

    VERY IMPORTANT! I want to say that my PC is in good condition. Not overheating, the video drivers are updated, the operating system is updated. I TRYED TO VERIFY my game files - 0 files veryfied.
    ALSO I MET A PLAYR WHO HAVE EXACTLY SAME PROBLEM LIKE MY!
    So please let's skip the part "first complete our basic PC troubleshooting steps" I DID IT ALREADY. ALSO I DON'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM IN ANOTHER GAMES! ONLY IN SIEGE!
    On the video you can see that while the game is frozen, my pc still recording sound.
    I hope i get quick reply and i belive that we can fix this UBI!

    • What is your model of CPU?
    • What is your Windows version used? (May look similar to Version 21h2 - OS Build 19044, 1889)
    • The Match ID of your game that was affected by a freeze
    • Any videos or a description of what happened in-game, just before the crash?

    ever since new update i been getting fps and latency idk why i have a high end pc im on ethernet with over 1230mbps i havent tried ranked yet but in casual been happening alot any help ?

    My pc and connection works fine with other games/devices

    Hey folks, sorry to hear you're all experiencing this issue! I'd like to gather a bit more information to help the team look into this issue properly.

    @Miko251 I really appreciate you providing that video and attempting to provide those files. I can't access those through a file sharing site, but I can pull them up through our support site. Can you create a support ticket and attach them there?

    For everyone else experiencing this, please first of all confirm that the issue persists after running through our basic troubleshooting guide. If it does, please let me know your general system specs. Alternatively, you can create a support ticket and upload your system files.

    I and two of my mates had the same problem.

    Already that we could no longer use the Overlay in the game since a previous update, because it now uses the processor too much.
    That's great.

    game is freezing continuously mid game, it freezes for 5 to 7 seconds, i have updated drivers, downgraded drivers but problem still persists, I am running vulkan

    @Ubi-Mushy Hello! Thank you for your quck response and sorry for my late! I did what you asked about the DxDiag and Msinfo32. I uploaded them in the Ubisoft site by support ticked. So now i hope we can get solutions about this problem. As you can see not only me have this issue. Like a said before - we got this problem after the last maintenance. Thank you so much for your support!

    @Ubi-Milky I had the same problem but I verified the files on Ubisoft connect and everything was fine, it is still freezing

    @Jalebi severe memory leak. Lower textures to delay it.


    This is with medium textures (without HD pack) after few map changes (game does not unload old data). I would say that over 11gb of RAM/pagefile and almost 4gb allocated to VRAM can't be great.

    Hi,
    I have exactly the same problem. After the last update, the exact same thing happens to me, the game freezes for 4-5 seconds. I've never had this problem with a game before. I tried to do everything according to your article but unfortunately to no avail. Unfortunately, the game becomes unplayable. 
    I also tried to reinstall the game and unfortunately without success. Thanks to player Miko251👍 for a very detailed description of the problem.

    @KingOfPredators Weird, because I see the same type of stuff in task manager, and I've been able to get multi hour sessions in without any issues. Pic below is after a few hours.
