It would be really great if you fixed the client so that you don't get asked every time you log in whether you accept cookies. No matter what you click, the next day the question is there again.

  • Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

    Hey there @Maik_C ,

Thank you for reaching out, sorry for the delay!

This isn't something that's been reported before.

If you haven't done so already, could you please try clearing the client's cache and if the issue remains, reinstall the Ubisoft Connect client?

Please let us know how you get on!

    Hey there @UNeaK1502 ,

Thanks for pointing out this Reddit thread. To clarify what Ubi-TheBerry was referring to, we meant we had no widespread reports noted in our internal tools.

I'd like to investigate this. Can you be specific for me about which specific URLs you are seeing a cookie pop-up each time? And, if it is on the Ubisoft Connect launcher, when does this pop-up show? I've tried various pages of the Ubisoft Store, and the Ubisoft Connect launcher, and the only cookie pop-up I've been able to get is when using an incognito tab (and even then, it's just one, rather than every time I load the store). With this information, I'll be able to pass on your reports about this internally, so that we can investigate using our internal tools.

Thanks so much for your help with this 🙂

Just for future reference, please avoid bumping threads which are more than a few months old, even when it seems like your post is relevant to the thread. The reason for this is that older threads frequently contain outdated information, so we prefer that they not be moved to the front of the forum due to a new post. Please create a new thread in future, so that we can be sure the information in the new thread is all current and accurate. Thanks!

    Hi @Ubi-Thrupney ,
    thank you for your reply.

So my launcher is not set to autostart with windows, I only launch it when I need to. Some time ago I think the default landing page switched to the "Ubisoft+" tab, I think we've missed that detail here. And that's about it actually.
After every start of Ubisoft Connect, I get the Cookies-Dialogue in the "Ubisoft+-Tab" in german. I've set my interface language to english (though I live in Germany), but it doesn't apply to the cookie-dialogue or the Store-Tab.
I've found a workaround by changing the landing page to "games" so I dont instantly see the dialogue. But once I switch to the Ubisoft+-Tab, it appears again.
Further, after every PC restart I have to enter the password again, although the provided "remember me" option is ticked.
Funnily enough, launching TM2020 from Steam does not ask me for a Ubisoft login - but on game exit it tells me I got logged out due to inactivity. The timespan doesn't matter either.

    Regards,
    UNeaK

@UNeaK1502 Understood, thank you for the details !

The problem with the "remember me" option has been reported to the Team, and an investigation into the matter is ongoing.

I've also forwarded your report regarding the cookies dialogue for Ubisoft+, and we'll reach out if additional information is needed.

Don't hesitate to let us know if you have questions, or if there's anything else we can help you with !

I also have this issue and tried  clearing the client's cache and reinstall the Ubisoft Connect client*

None of these steps solved the issue, and I'm quite sure because the cookies don't work that I can't access the Store or Ubisoft+ in the UCc*

Hey @Dragzonox, thank you for letting us know.

As mentioned above, this is still a field of investigation for our teams.
