When I try to press the Left Stick in to sprint, a digital keyboard will pop up, kind of like if I were trying to type on a console, even though I am using PC. Pretty annoying as that command is often used to sprint in games like Far Cry.

Secondly, I notice that when using a menu, both in game and on the Connect Overlay, options tend to skip.
e.g. Options on the menu are:
Continue
New Game
Options

If I start on Continue, and press down on the Dpad, it will skip to Options instead of new game.

Can I know what's the issue and if there's a possible fix? Thanks.

Using an Xbox One Controller on PC, if that helps, all drivers are up to date as far as I know.

@Kirin_Boy I am having the same problem, really thinking about uninstalling the games for good because they are not even playable at this point and it is super frustrating ya know.

Absolutely, I hadn't touch my games in a bit, but I suspect some update to the client to have gone wrong in the period. Finally felt the mood to go back to clear my games but now this happens, sigh.

It's the weekend so the staff might be away, so I will wait for a week to see if someone has an actual solution or reply.

@Ubi-TheBerry I am trying to play Assassin's Creed Valhalla and this issue is happening to me. I have not bound the left stick at all. Is there a quick solution that doesn't involve some sort of patch? Like, some kind of editing of a keybind to remove left stick from bringing up that keyboard?

Hi, so far the titles I have encountered this with is Far Cry 3 and AC Odyssey.

And for settings, they are as default.

Thanks, managed to resolve this but I had to take a different approach to step 6.

I only get a default option but nothing about Disabled, so i went to the key binding options under the Left Stick, and deleted the input for clicking and now it works.

Hope this info could help others if they encounter issues.

@Kirin_Boy I also didn't see a button called "Browse Settings", but did what you described and removed the "Click Action" (which had been bound to "Show Keyboard").
Now when I'm in-game, clicking the left thumbstick won't open a keyboard, so I can finally use it for the game's bound actions (Knockout, show location quests, etc.), hurray! Thank you.

I know this is an old topic but i've never had this issue before until the most recent update, as im writing this (2/26/23) thats why i came to look for answers and found this, obviously im getting this issue JUST NOW when logging back into ACV after a week, never binded the controller to anything before and yes ive resolved the issue but my point is, it had to have been the update its frustrating af. If it ain't broken to fix it....Stupid.
