I am on the Xbox One version and I have now tried five times to start the Sigrblot Festival. It keeps hard crashing just after Eivor lights the bonfire. Just experienced my fifth crash and I cannot progress in the game at all. Giving up for the day.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Edit: Just tried loading an older save (before the release of Dawn of Ragnarok and the Forgotten Saga) that starts me outside of Ravensthorpe. Worked fine. Then I fast traveled to Ravensthorpe and did the cutscene again. It actually did not crash.

Tried loading my newest save again. Crashed again. I am a bit baffled.

Edit: Tried fast traveling before the cutscene started. Fast traveled to Hadrian's Wall. Still get cutscene. Crash. Fast traveled to Ireland. No crash. Fast traveled back to England. Cutscene starts. Crash.

@KnightofTara I fast travel back to Ravensthorpe and the cutscene for the event starts. Then it crashes during the conversation

I am experiencing crash after the latest update (patch 1.6.0). I can roam around the whole map in any region in the game, but everytime I approach the Sigrblot Festival area in Ravensthorpe the game crashes imediately. Not sure wether it's the festival or the DLC quest (which starts in the festival area) that causes the crash, but it's something about that area. This have never happened to me before with previous DLCs or festivals. I have'nt seen any comments from others who experience the same problem.

PS; I just re-installed the game, but still the same thing happens

@KnightofTara it keeps crashing on me on xbox--Eivor starts walking in to the festival and it crashes as soon as Sigurd starts talking to Eivor!! GRRR!!!

@KnightofTara Same here every time the festival cut scene ends, cant do anything until this gets sorted as i have to report back to randvi first

Same here, my last auto save was in Ravensthorpe so each time i launch the game, it crash... and I can't do anything.
it's so annoying

I did crash once today in the festival. Crashes have been common for me when tabbing and I was tabbed so I figured it was that. It got better, seemingly, with 1.6 so this was the first in a couple of days.

Crashing randomly in the festival xbox one. It doesn't really matter if I am just walking around the festival area or looking for offerings. The game has to be restarted only to have it crash again. This didn't happen prior to the festival starting.

I had no problems with the game until the new festival began today (Aug 4) and now it keeps crashing--FIX THIS PROBLEM ASAP as this is NOT acceptable!!! I even cleared my cache with no help as the game is still CRASHING and it only started with the start of the festival

@KnightofTara even if I load an older save it’s still crashing for me. So frustrating, not only can I not do the festival, I can’t do anything!! I guess I won’t be able to play until the festival is over?

I play on PC an I'm experiencing crash with the festival as well. I can roam anywhere in any map, even in England, except for Ravensthorpe. When I get close to the festival area my game crash. I managed to get through the cutscene after many attempts, but it keeps crashing. I was so excited to play Forgotten Saga, but I guess I'll have to wait until the end of August when the festival is over.

@max-attac I know, it's driving me crazy too. You could always load an earlier save in the main menu (I assume you have more than just one save?). It doesn't solve the problem, but it's better than being stuck in the loading screen

@Polyedra So the crashing stoped? My English is poor, could you please explain the word tabbing? It might save my problem if it was the solution to yours

@NorwegianModric I'm tabbing between windows. I run it fullscreen because Windows gives it more resources then.
So a tab is one window and Valhalla would be one of those.
Then I got my browser up and sometimes the browser seem to mess up my gpu as it crashes and demands a reboot.
Got a weak gpu. It's a great mid-range card but my resolution is too high for it so I gain stability by going lowest settings in Valhalla, except the resolution itself.
It can run Valhalla on ultra too but it gets unstable so it's not worth it. Performance is everything.
I don't know if your issue is similar to mine but try that: Keep it fullscreen, never tab out and don't even open a browser.

I already uninstalled and reinstalled the stupid game and when it loads up going into my settlement it puts me in the War with Metal fight automatically (WHICH I DON'T WANT) and then the game crashes and QUITS--FIX YOUR STUPID GAME ASAP!!!!

@KnightofTara Ubisoft is HOPEFULLY working on this, because if going to Ravenscroft, which starts the festival whether you go there or NOT and immediately crashes the game, then you can't talk to Randvi, play in Asgard or Jutonhiem, the Dawn of Ragnorok DLC, River Raid game mode, the Forgotten Saga game mode, or the festival itself. Game progression, except in Ireland and Francia is going to be tough, as is getting the TWO "Connect" challenges for playing Forgotten Saga for this week.

Mais uma vez o festival todo bogado.
No evento de combate de arena ele simplesmente não inicia,
Já carreguei saves antigos, mudei ate as armas e armaduras como voltei a instalar o jogo.
E sim eu voltei a por as licenças e continuou a não dar em nada.
No meio disso não posso pegar o resto das fichas que preciso para comprar os itens em loja no evento.
Por favor reparem logo isso antes que todos percam os itens.

Game crash and send me back to xbox home page as soon it enters festival cinematic. What ever save i load. Already clean xbox cache, uninsal and reinstal game.nothing fixes it. The game is so broken its not fun anymore. Since wrath of the druids: I canot purchase anything at reda shop, i dont have any jomsviking anywhere on the map ,no players to avenge. Get online service error everytime i open the map or try to save the game or try to buy a item from reda. Its wmost bugy and broken game of all the A.C. Series. Worst service for all the money spend on the game, add ons, season pass and dlc all broken for more than 100 euros all together . I
