I have spent time and money on AC. Since September, if he wants to play DLC, I have to pirate the games. Why Ubisoft encourages piracy? What is the point of buying their games? Why don't Ubisoft create offline patch?
Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.

@perun29 Agreed, how do they belive its okay to take away dlcs we've bought it outrageous, just do your self a favour ubisoft and release ac 2 - ac syndicate drm free with all dlcs on gog and keep your bloated ac origin to valhalla.
@perun29 because many will still subscribe to their live services (since you clearly don't OWN the game you paid for..) and buy their NFT-infused crap, that's why. They left Steam to earn more (they didn't like the split), and what do they do with these extra bucks ? Do they use it to preserve their legacy or honor their employees who worked their asses off making dlc-s they are about to flush down the toilet ? No, they use it to make shareholders happy and give their finances a facelift in hope for a better buyout offer from some investment fund.
14000-people strong company making billions of dollars annually cannot afford to keep their older titles alive or prepare a proper offline patch unlocking all DLC-s and in-game cosmetics for people to enjoy. How sad.
Truth is - nobody holds them accountable for anything, so why should they care ? People complain about microtransactions and the Animus Store but they keep wasting money on unicorns so their Eivor can ride in style. I get the impression that I'm the only one who haven't bought any Ubisoft game since they left Steam..
@perun29 It's atrocious. When a games company makes the games you can buy from them worse than the version you can pirate, they are asking people to pirate their games - including their new ones. Why would you pay for something from a company that has a track record of stealing from you? Why would you ever feel guilty about stealing from that company?
I liked Ubisoft games, especially Assassin's Creed. I would like to keep supporting them and that franchise. I can't, however, justify doing any more knowing that they stole from me and they will probably eventually steal anything I buy from them in the future.
once i owned ac3 to ac odyssey and every time i logged in through uplay to play those games i always asked myself why is uplay needed.release all your single player games on gog UBISOT!!!
